Jeff Blakley
Possible spouse
If you run across a Jan Terburg, I suspect that he might be Agnes' husband. He was a brother of Andries Terburg and they owned a business called Terburg Bros. Co. Jan was born on October 29, 1888 in Holland. Andries anglicized his name to Andrew and moved to Homestead, Florida in about 1927, where he owned a bar. Jan also lived in Homestead for a time - they were in the construction business. Jan's WWII draft card shows that he worked for Latter & Blum, Inc. in New Orleans.

Marie Valeton 101911561
Hi, I see you have Marie Valeton #101911561 as having the maiden name Vives. I have been photographing SL 2 and have discovered a Marie Vives Valeton (exact inscription) buried with St. Bris. L. Valeton. According to information from death records, and census records, they are the parents of Desiree Marie, Roland Joseph, Selika L, Elia T, and Numea. My Marie Vives Valeton is buried with St. Bris L. Valeton and Numea Valeton Coquille. There are others, but I haven't linked them yet.
I have found a Marie Valeton who died 12/29/1915, do you think that could be your entry? Her full name according to marriage records with Chas. L.A. Valeton is Marie Carolne Arenel Belorea Valeton. DOB about 1852. Her death record indicates DOD as 12/29/ 1915, the year matches your Marie Valeton.
I don't remember finding any official birth certificates, only census records for the children being in the house of Marie Octavie Vives Valeton and St. Bris Louis Valeton.

Charles Erasmus Fenner
My memorial # 106936148 for Charles Fenner is a duplicate of your memorial # 97182725, and I will be deleting it in favor of yours. However, I question whether he is buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery #1 as shown on your memorial or Lafayette Cemetery Number 1 as indicated by the Fenner family gravestone shown on both our memorials. I have never gone to either cemetery, but I would like to be sure which one to look in for him if I ever get there.

I also ask you link your memorial for him to his father Erasmus Darwin Fenner (memorial # 11758788), wife Caroline Payne Fenner (memorial # 11894848) and son Henry Payne Fenner (memorial # 105752961).

Thank you,
Hank Davison

RE: William C Morel, Sr
Thanks- this whole wall of vaults are fairly well worn. I am having difficulty deciphering. Thanks again.

William C Morel, Sr
Hello,
I see you listed a William C Morel in St. Louis #2. I believe I might have the same person in St. Louis #3 though perhaps one of has his son? The one I have is listed on the same vault as Mary Schaeffer Morel but our DOD are a few years apart. Could you look at both and see what you think? Could mine be a cenotaph? (I hate to just delete mine on a guess that we have the same guy because I used the multi photo upload tool which deletes the photos from all people if you delete one - hoping they fix that!)

Lesage
I see you have posted 2 Lesage's in St Louis #3. I just posted a photo of a vault with only the name Lesage. I don't have any idea if this vault goes with your people. This is in Sq 2 St. de le Vierge Aisle if you wanted to call the cemetery office and ask. I am unrelated so they won't tell me.

Thoma/Thomas
Hi,

I noticed you've created a few memorials for some Thoma and Thomas folks. Are you any relation to those folks?

My Thomas line comes from Thoma actually. I see you have two Thoma listed in Stuttgart. I've yet to find any Thoma relations in Germany so I was hoping you might have some info that will let us track.

Below is what I have going back to Germany (Albrecth Thoma) and his sone that came to the US (Johnannes) before they started using Thomas as our last name.

Direct Descendants of Albrecht THOMA

1 Albrecht THOMA b: 1658 d: October 07, 1731 in Neuenbürg, Bishopric of Speyer, (now) Baden-Württemberg, Germany
. +Barbara d: April 28, 1718 in Neuenbürg, Bishopric of Speyer, (now) Baden-Württemberg, Germany Mother: Unknown
... 2 Johannes THOMA b: December 20, 1685 in Neuenbürg, Bishopric of Speyer, (now) Baden-Württemberg, Germany d: Abt. 1721 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia
....... +Anna Maria Blankenbühler b: May 05, 1687 in Neuenbürg, Bishopric of Speyer, (now) Baden-Württemberg, Germany m: November 18, 1711 in Neuenbürg, Kraichtal, Baden-Württemberg, Germany d: Bef. Villere Updates
Hi,

I was wondering on the reason why you declined the update for Ernest Villere to his father Caliste Villere but took the time to put the info in the bio.

There are 2 separate SAR applications that show Ernest as the son of Caliste and listing both men's birth and death dates.

By not making the family link, then Caliste's memorial lacks a link to his son.

Sorry, but I don't understand why you wouldn't want to make the link.

Thx,
Dawna
PS: Wishing you a blessed and safe Christmas.
