Thanks for the transfers. the family of Alfred Hamlin Chenoweth (father of Alfred Davenport) was the only Chenoweth to ever be found in Lincoln Co., MO. There never were any in Warren Co. In St Clair Co. we find the family of William Erasmus Chenoweth who was a brother to Alfred Hamlin. Of course it would take me more time to sort out the daughter lines. There were some small children of Alfred Hamlin and Catherine Chenoweth that died young. They are likely to be buried in Lincoln Co. along with Alfred Hamlin I have listed them on Ella Sarah's memorial. Thanks for your help.

Carla.. sure I would be glad to accept the transfers of Alfred Hamlin and Josephine Pearl Baker Chenoweth. I will take good care of them. Over the last couple of years I have located over 5,000 Chenoweths on find-a-grave and control pages for over 1,000 of them. It all helps. I don't know yet where Alfred's father, Alfred Hamlin Chenoweth is buried, it maybe in this same cemetery, he died in Lincoln Co., MO November 28, 1887. His wife, Ella Sarah Crume, Alfred Hamlin's mother remarried to G. E. Francisco. I have just relooked at her death cert on line an saw that she was buried in this same Troy cemetery and have added her, 117518870. My Find A Grave is 46871028. Thank you for your work on find-a-grave. Gravers are Great!

Many, many thanks for taking and posting photos of Lewis/Louis, Catherine and Casper Lansche's grave markers! In the records Lewis's name is found spelled both ways which was very confusing when trying to decide how to put it in Find A Grave. I went with the way it was spelled in his obituary. I think I will change it to the way it is spelled on his tombstone. Hugs, Judy

Thank you for thinking of other military families. My grandfather was actually born in the United States (Michigan), and his parents emigrated to Canada when he was a boy. He only lived to be 38 years old.
My son-in-law is a U.S. Marine, and returned from his tour of duty in Afghanistan this year.
So, you see, I really DO APPRECIATE YOU!
