Living in Southwest Virginia after retiring as a Critical Care nurse. Always loved genealogy and now incorporating it with history and involved with Find A Grave.|
I follow Find A Grave guideline and if you want me to transfer a memorial to you, it should be a DIRECT relative within four generations. ( FAG says: This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.) Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management.
Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. FAG's goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.
Please contact me if you would like something added that you can't add. I believe flowers should be for someone you know not to decorate a page.
Feel free to use any of my photos without giving me any credit. I am dedicated to preserving our passed loved ones and linking families.
May I add a death certificate to a person's memorial page?
Death certificates may be added via the "Add a photo" button on the memorial page. Please select the option for "Other" in the "Type of photo:" to be added, as it is not a Grave, Person or Family photograph. NOTE: Death certificates do not necessarily contain completely accurate information about the deceased. There are often errors regarding the final burial location (as well as other data).
Feel free to post the death certificates on any of mine but according to FAG regs, cut off all the excess. These certificates let us know the dates and families even if we can't find them right away.

It's an optional thing and I don't want them on my memorials especially when a tombstone records the information. There can be errors on death certificates and cause problems. I asked you nicely not to put them on my memorials and I think it's a legitimate request. As memorial owner I can delete and add any memorial I want to. I don't appreciate your snotty attitude when I was trying to be polite in my request.

I've made the transfer. Best of luck with straightening this out. If Dillie was a nickname, perhaps you can track down the correct name through the dates, or something. Thanks for your work.
Please do not put death cert on my memorials. Just make the edit corrections. Thank you.

I always check edits against records on Ancestry.com or Family Search and cannot find any documentation for the edits you request for #130683565. Would you mind giving me a little help with this? Or, I would be happy to transfer the management to you and you can make the edits directly.

Your comment is correct. That's exactly what it is. Tree's, rocks and bushes. It lies about 300 yard's up a treacherous path to the crown of the hill. Very dangerous with lots of peril's. I would not attempt unless someone accompanies. Map shows the location pretty closely from where you can park on Anglers Way.

Mildred Fields was mistakenly added to our Fields Family Cemetery. Thanks, Thomas Fields

Hello Scott county cousin. I was hoping, since you seem to have a good handle on the TRENT family (Hancock co., TN), if you might know the mother and father of:

died 17 October 1942 McMinnville, Yamhill County, OR.

Hi! Thanks so much for your quick reply and the great suggestions. I will add him to Maplewood and reference your memorial. His wife is not buried here. In fact, he is the only Edmonds I have found in this cemetery so far.

all of my kin are from the Dryden/Olinger/Jonesville & Lynch, KY area. We have been to the area and found several cemeteries. Have you ever been to the Sigma-Payne cemetery in Keokee? I am looking for any Collinsworth or Blubaugh family members. Would you know anyone who has pictures, or could take some pictures? It would be greatly appreciated. We live in the Los Angeles area and haven't been out there for a few years. Let me know, THANKS!
