A request to revise birth year to 1842 was sent via the edit tab - also location of birth.
Obviously he couldn't have qualified to be in Civil War if he was only born in 1852. Besides that I can confirm 1842 as accurate.

Thank you for the prompt response.
It's a shame that more of the Find A Grave volunteer's don't take responsibility for the obligations they assumed when accepting Maintenance Control of a memorial page.
Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
Have another great day,

Please remove the photograph of text that you added to Ruth's memorial page. Find A Grave provides text fields for biographical information. I've entered the text into the appropriate field.
In the future, if you would like information added, changed, edited or otherwise updated on one of my memorial pages, please use the "Edit" tab and appropriate link. I respond to ALL of my Edit Requests and SACs, usually within 36 hours.
When time permits, read my profile page. Pay particular attention to the section titled "Information - where it belongs..." for an explanation of why photos of text are inappropriate.
I have no problems posting obituaries to document historical facts under the "Fair Use" provisions of the Copyright Act of 1976, Section 107. Please include a source citation when possible.
Thank you for your understanding and prompt response.
Have another great day,

I am sorry that I did not see your entry for
I hope that the request about the second and
original burial place is satisfactory with
I guess too that this situation does not come
up too often.
Should you desire changes, please advise.

I was posting a photo of my Great Great Grandfather Albert Shepard (of Wabash, IL husband to Sarah Jane Greathouse) to findagrave and was surprised to see a photo that I have never seen before. Is this really Albert Shepard? He resembles the younger Albert in my family photo of him a bit. Where did you find the photo? Are you related to Albert Shepard?

Thank you for taking a picture of my grandmother. I've been looking for her for awhile. She was actually my step-grandmother on my dad's side but she is the only grandmother I ever met. She was a sweet lady.
