Mary May (Williams) Shelley
Hi MSue,
I have good reason to believe that Mary May Shelley (born Drock) was a distant cousin of mine.
I am puzzled by the "Williams" included in her name (Mary M. Williams Shelley). She married Calvin Brittain Shelley when she was 16 years old and the 1900 census shows that as her first marriage. She died a few months before Brittain Shelley and was apparently still married to him. It seems unlikely that she was married to someone named Williams.
What was the source of your information for the Williams name?

Just a note to thank you for these Florida Memorials for my aunt and uncle. I was not able to attend either funeral and am not likely to ever be in Florida, so the photos are much appreciated.

RE: Barton Cemetery
Unfortunately, Barton Cemetery no longer exists. It is a disappeared/destroyed cemetery. The stones for Zenas & Marilla Barton and Perry Killburn were read by a historian some 20 years ago. Those stones went missing at some point since then. Most likely there was once more stones there but they slowly disappeared over the decades.

We were able to locate your request for Rosa Stoddard.
I put in the note what was written on the stone/marker.
I was also able to acquire info on 2 of her husbands.
It was a pleasure finding your family.
