I am an automobile racing historian specializing in the history of that sport in Kansas although I've also dabbled in genealogy for more than 30 years. I am also interested in the history of Cowley County, Kansas and its people.|

|Earl Parkins||Father of Dora Boone #102281178|
Hi Bob. As you will note I have linked the mother (# 76008396)of Dora Patterson Boone to your creation # 102281178. My research reveals that her father, Ephraim Patterson was residing in Amorita, Oklahoma when he died June 25, 1909. He was probably interred in the same cemetery (Byron-Amorita Cemetery)in Alfalfa Co. that Dora was interred. Ephraim was born October 5, 1825. Could this be checked and added to your Find A Grave memorials? Thank you for your Find-A-Grave service. Earl E. Parkins # 47716601

My Grandmother was Helen's sister-in-law, I was curious where you happened upon the portraits of her ??? :)
Thank you Bob. Looks great!
|B Seivert||Alice DeAnn Hollis Corbin #129865410|
You took some great photos of Chester Vern Corbin #104273805. There is an existing photo request for photos of his wife. Her name is Alice DeAnn Hollis Corbin #129865410. If you chose to, your photos of Mr. Corbin would be more than fitting to use at Mrs. Corbin's memorial.
I didn't have any other way to contact you, hence the public messages.
|Gary LaMothe||Burby, Scott & George|
You have listed Scott & George Burby in the Bowen Cemetery, Greenfield, Saratoga Cty, NY. You are correct and wrong to. :) Bowen was the early name for "Hutchings Cem". You will find your names listed in The Hutchings Cem, Greenfield, Saratoga Cty, NY. Please delete them in the Bowen Cem.
|Sylvia Hertel||Jessie Lee (Berryhill) Belter|
I was just looking at the memorial of Jessie Lee (Berryhill) Belter #100834536. Jessie was married to C. C. Hill, b. 1880 in Kentucky, before she was married to Gottfried Belter, and had, I think, three children by him. Could you add his name as first spouse? I found them in the 1910 U.S. Census. They had a one year old in that census. He's also listed in one of the Ancestry family trees, along with their children.
In the 1920, or maybe 1930, U.S. Census, she is married to Gottfried and those children are listed as step children. I haven't finished with Jessie's profile yet, but I was afraid I'd get distracted and forget about the editing of Jessie's memorial.
Thank you and
Sylvia M. Hertel

|Bev J.||Brashear Cemetery, Upton, Kentucky|
I'm interested in the Sullivans who are buried in Brashear Cemetery, Upton, Kentucky. I read the note about photography being prohibited because of illegal activity in the area and something about previous vandalism. It sounds like the cemetery needs to be photographed to record what is there, but I don't understand the whole situation. Bob, have you visited this cemetery? Are all the burials in the cemetery recorded on Findagrave? Are there stones for all of the seven of the Sullivans listed on Findagrave? Could there be other Sullivans interred there also? Is this the same cemetery that is sometimes referred to as being on Stanley Avery's Farm, on Hwy. 1921?
So many questions....inquiring minds (mine) want to know! Thanks for any answers you provide!
