Bio and Links
Bio Photo I like wandering through cemeteries wondering what stories the people there could tell.
When I was younger my grandfather would take my siblings and I to a local cemetery in Benicia, CA and put flags on the military markers.
With the help of my friend Terry, I have started to take pictures and helping him with photo requests.

Yes, that cemetery is very old. Anaheim is my hometown, although I no longer live there. My grandparents are buried in the Pioneer section of the cemetery. I am a historian and have a Facebook page "History of Anaheim" you are welcome to join. I have posted some things about past residents who are buried there. I also have a blog on Anaheim history I am building up. Thank you again for the photo.--

Thank you for taking the photo and finding her her headstone is missing? Did it sink under the ground? I am so curious...I saw that you noted the groundskeepers helped locate the grave. What did they say about it? Thanks again!

Thank you Darla for finding my Uncle. I see that no date is placed on his wife Kathleen. Could that mean she is buried somewhere else ? I am pretty sure that she passed in the 2000's but don't know where.

Your photo angle f the setting is also appreciated so that we can see where he is resting. Tom ~ Seattle

RE: Betty E. Carpenter, Santa Ana Cemetery
Thanks. Maybe she meant Bertha when she created the memorial. Hard to guess.

Betty E. Carpenter, Santa Ana Cemetery
Darla, Thanks for looking. I will have the ask the creator of the memorial why this memorial was created if there's no Betty E. Carpenter in the Santa Ana Cemetery.

Emily A. Ford Photo
Hi Darla, thanks so much for the photo of Emily Ford, my grand aunt! She comes from a long line of Fords, that originally emigrated from England, arriving in Plymouth, Massachusetts in the early 1600s on the "Fortune", which was the next ship to arrive after the Mayflower. Her maiden name was Ford, as was her married name.
