20 July 2010,|
I am seventy years old and have been married for 52 years. We have three children and five grandchildren.
I started working on the family trees, of my husband and myself, about 50 years ago. I was never told that there would be no end to it.
My children gave me my first computer for my birthday, this year. I am having the time of my life. Find A Grave is the best thing that ever happened to a genealogist. Pushing buttons is much better than reading film until your eyes cross.
I like history (local best of all) and I like to read.
Most of the memorials I have added are not my family. I will be more than happy to transfer those to anyone who can add information and/or pictures. You do not have to be related. A good friend is better than nothing.
Please do NOT add death certificates to my memorials. Just ask for a transfer and then when it is your memorial you can add anything you like.
Please send documentation with your edits. I don't change my memorials without documentation. You may prefer to ask for a transfer and that will be fine as long as it isn't my family.

What you are doing , have done, and shall do I see is well.
Please add me as your friend. On Find A Grave also now too.
Lela, you're welcome. It's nice to see relatives managing the memorials.

Lela, You are very welcome. It's comments like yours that keep me fulfilling photo requests.
In addition to the Wetherell and Nolen photos you requested, I posted photos for 4 other Wetherells (Jennie S. (Wetherell) Foster, John Wetherell, Clarissa (Sigourney) Wetherell and George A. Wetherell) and one other Nolen photo (Emily). If you haven't already discovered these, I invite you to revisit South Cemetery.

Lela, I am looking for any info you can give me on these two individuals. Mahulda Jane Hurst White, their mother, was at the Choate Hospital when she died & is buried out at the cemetery close to the hospital in an unmarked grave. I am looking for her two children, Ira & Cynthia. Ira was born abt 1880 in Franklin co I think. Their father was William White. William & Mahulda, Hulda as she was called, was divorced some after the children were born. Do you have any information on these children. I have not been able to locate them anywhere. Mahulda died 1920 & I am not sure when Cynthia was born. If you know or have any suggestions how I can locate them & where they are buried I would really be glad & appreciate any help you can give me. Thank You, Alice Hurst

I received a request to add a spouse for Louisa, but the request was to add Louisa as her own spouse. Did you mean to add someone else? Could you check that for me and send me a corrected spouse? Would you also let me know a source for the info, so that I may add that? (unless it's on the stone and I missed it). That way anyone else looking knows how to find that info. I will add spouse, source and credit you with that info when I make the changes.
Thank you. firstname.lastname@example.org
