The Miners and Mechanics Cemetery is in Bloomingrose. There isn't a Bloomingrose Cemetery. A lot of death certificates just list Bloomingrose as the place of burial, but it's the Miners and Mechanics Cemetery. If you Google it, the Google map shows it's location (easy to find). Within the cemetery are fenced in areas for large family plots. I'll transfer Dr. Kinnison to you.

Benjamin Franklin Jackson
Place of birth has been updated, although his birth record indicates he was born in "Charles Town District" not in the town of Charles Town. Bio was updated with this information. Thank you for making this a more complete memorial!

I am so happy I could provide you with your gg grandfather's stone's photo. I live almost 2000 miles away and am visiting family in this area, so decided to try to fulfill some of the photo requests here in my old home town. I walked past John's stone a couple of times as the writing was totally grown over. I finally was able to clear the letters and was happy to see it was his stone. You are so very welcome.

Hi,

Thanks for alerting Rebecca about the photo and obit. I had added that when I was new here and very confused with all the Dutton men having the same or similar names :) I took them down. I had added a memorial for my Uncle but forgot all about the other! Take care :)

Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 200 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace
