I enjoy photographing cemeteries and posting the information here on Find-A-Grave for all my fellow genelogists to use. I know how difficult it is to find burial sites of elusive relatives.

As for transfers of these memorials, I am glad to do it, provided your request falls within the Find-A-Grave transfer guidelines. I find that sticking to the guidelines keeps everyone happy and polite.

Regardless, I am always happy to add links, family information, or obituaries to any of these memorials. Just use the EDIT tab and ask away. I often add links myself based on information in an obituary or on a gravestone.

Happy hunting!

RE: Re: Joan Canning
I think that it was because of her parents. The last time that I saw Joan was at an uncles funeral and she was talking about wanting to be buried there, so I'm sure it was that reason. Did you ever meet Joan's mother Addie? She was a very special lady send from God.

RE: Re: Joan Canning
Joan and her Husband had 2 plots there Her father was a member of that church when he was a youngster. His mother and father are buried there if I'm not mistaken. I'm also kin to all the Massey's in there.
Thanks for the transfer

re: Lottie
Yes Lottie was there originally. That is what I was trying to explain. The marker that currently has Lona's name with Lottie's dates on it replaced the original marker that had Lottie's name and Lottie's dates on it. If you still have the email I sent then click on the link to verify Lottie was in the cemetery with the same dates. If not I will send it to you again. I so appreciate all the work you are doing on the Roberts memorials. But do not take the previous owners word that the data is correct. They relied on the census and you know what thats worth. I will try to send you as much documentation as I can. My maternaal Grandfather Mack P. Roberts was an adopted son of McKinsie (not McKinsey) Roberts & Rebecca Jones(not James). The other contributor used the census spelling because they are not related and don't know the family history. Please view Mack's memorial to get the jest of the family history, it will explain who I am and how I know so much about the family. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=29216026

It's ok because changing the dates would just cause you problems with more correction by those that don't do the research and want the dates to match the marker. Someone is probably going to create a memorial for Lottie sooner or later anyway. With the name correction family will know who it is "suppose" to be and hopefully "family' will not bother you. If they do, send them to me and I'll educate them. Except for the name change, the other info was for your benefit, in case you are related. All these problems started from well meaning people trying to "improve" on worn-out markers and getting it wrong. My family appreciates your help. Thank you

Thank you for all that you have done to bring not just me but all of us a little closer to our loved ones. We often forget the struggles they went through in the past to make this life we live better. And those that leave us too soon we need to remember them for the passion, love and joy they left behind. Even through our heart break we can find joy in their memory.

Thank you for checking. Maybe something will turn up as you review all those photos.
My best to you.
