|I am a native of Orange County N.C. and have grandparents of one degree or another buried in 15 cem. in Orange, Alamance or Guilford counties (aunts and uncles in an additional 31 scattered across the state). My wifes grandparents came from Onslow, Wilson, Lee, and Rowan Counties, so between the two of us we pretty much have the state covered with cousins.|
If you can provide corrections or family links to any of my postings please do. Most, but not all of the memorials I have added are related to me, I will gladly transfer memorials to those with closer kinship.

I think we've met through the BSA. I was district commissioner in Orange County a few years back.
John Edward Couch was my 4th cousin twice removed.
Thank you for looking into my family's gravestone. You have connections in Orange and Rowan Counties, if you ever find any Jacobs or Roundtree headstones I would appreciate any info you can send my way. Thanks again, Donna

I'm doing Ellen's edits while she is ill. If this is your family I found some information on his son, Glenn, that I posted on his memorial page. I also linked Mr. Kennedy's 1st wife.
I think you were right in that it was a duplicate. I deleted my memorial for him. Thanks for catching that.

|C. Harris Collier, III||RE: dates for Mary Rankin McKee|
Hi, Carlton! Although I don't descend from your paternal ancestor Mary Rankin McKee, she is the mother-in-law of my paternal 5th great grand uncle David Thomas Boring, where I found the information via Ancestry.Com.
Take care and God Bless,

An elderly couple live in the home and welcome anyone to visit the cemetery. You drive up their driveway around to the back of the house to the gate of the cemetery. She wanted to hear any stories I had to tell about anyone buried in the cemetery. You have to knock on the back door because they don't use the front at all. The cemetery is on the road so you don't have to drive forever through a field and across a creek to get to it. It seemed like most of the graves in that cemetery died during the measle outbreak.

The white house located to the left of the cemetery is where the access road is located; it runs thru their backyard. We did stop and ask permission at their back door. An elderly lady came to door, ok'd it and told us where to park. Happy Hunting!
