Thank you so much for visiting the birthday men if the Edmund Fitzgerald. Your thoughtful and kind ways are truly appreciated. Don't worry about being late. I have a feeling time is structured very differently in heaven and the men receive their wishes and gifts in the proper time for them.
But at least you do remember. I on the other hand at times miss it all together. Not wanting to, but time allows me so much space and then that's all. Honestly tho due to some personal issues I forget completely most of the time, even my own. So, I'm happy to get the chance to catch a few here and there. If ever there is someone you would like me to visit send me a message and I'll surely visit them.
Yes, I did notice the year your husband passed on to the other side. The year 1975 had an odd cross to bear. It is always devastating to lose loved ones, and then to lose so many in one event can be overwhelming and soul consuming. So many families, loved ones, and friends lives were touched that fateful day the Edmund Fitzgerald sank with all the men. Thank you for remembering them. I am going to visit the birthday boy for today and then get off here to get necessary things done. God Bless!

Thank you for thinking of Gilbert. He's healing nicely but it's one thing or another also. He's the worst patient to have. He don't like to be indoors for long.
Have a great day!
PS Thanks for remembering our anniversary too! C
|Colleen Hoover||Thank you|
Dear Judy, Thank you so much for remembering Jack-Jack on his angel day. I really appreciate it. I hope things are okay there. I'm here if you need to chat. Love, C

No, I didn't know Ralph's parents very well. I just knew they lived in a nearby neighborhood not far from some of our relatives, some being Tommy Snider who also drowned, but the opposite situation occurred there. Tommy's friend Joe almost lost his own life trying to save Tommy as an undercurrent whirl pool had pulled Tommy in. During the earlier part of Spring the Little Miami River is very treacherous with hidden undercurrent whirlpools. It has taken a lot of lives. Tho I didn't know his parents much everyone knew Ralph and he was everyone's little brother who never listened! LOL! I had heard his mother was a very kind and very sweet woman. I never heard much about his father, but they always seemed to be good people.
And, yes, feel free to let your pets give messages to Ralph. He would love it! In fact, I would bet he has met your pets and woollied them up with lots of love and treats already! :) As long as people are not disrespectful to the memory of those who have moved onward I see no reason to curtail their messages.
And how you wish to believe is fine with me as well, Judy. I'm pretty open minded in some areas.
Thank you for your messages. I appreciate your kindness greatly.
Best to you! Marylee~*

"There for the grace of God go I".
Very well put! Thank you Judy. I have often said that. Tho I am angered to this day for the terrible thing these young men did to dear Ralph I still realize the dynamics of their home life's, which for many was not very good and little guidance. When I look at the entire scope I thank God that I was not put in that situation.
I searched for a memorial for Ralph and found none and decided to make one for him, a testimony to the human spirit reaching out to others even to the end. For being a young man mentally challenged he sure has quite a deep lesson for us all on true friendship and how to treat others and to be careful not to speak ill of others.
I don't recall Ralph ever speaking a negative word of anyone to make him seem the better person. He would always say things like how he was friends with someone or was going to make friends with them. Then there would be times he would behave like a little brother and get on everyone's nerves! LOL! But like all little brothers he was loved and part of the group. It was a sad day when he passed away. Tho I know in heaven the angels sang in celebration of his return home to them. There he is healed and whole and enjoying eternity with God.
And you are welcome to know dear Ralph. Someone so special as he has to be shared for you cannot put such love and light into a box.
Thank you again for caring and being his friend, as I know Ralph counts you as his friend in heaven. I'm not able to be on and visit much, so I'm always thankful to see that others have taken him under their wing. Thank you for caring so much for him. God bless and have a lovely week.
