As long as we remember our ancestors in our hearts, they are always with us.....|
Even though they are in a different place, they are still a part of our lives, let us not forget the ones who have gone before us.

New Hoy Family Member: I would Love for you to Visit my new memorial for John "Doc" Hoy and leave a floral tribute. I found his very sad story in an Omaha Newspaper from April 1899. I have no idea what Hoy family he actually belongs to, but have adopted him to mine, nevertheless.

We just keep plugging along. Thanks for processing those edits in Lafayette cemetery.
I received a message from a contributor over on FamilySearch.org who was working on the Hauptman's and doing a lot of good clean-up there.
My Grt-grandmother, Anna Marie Fass Rockemann, married Ernest Hauptmann in 1955. Ernest and Arthur are brothers, but I didn't expect to find Arthur buried in Lafayette where my Green's are. In some ways my ancestor world is getting smaller.
Hope you are well.
Thank you for sharing your website! Amazing stuff! I have come across it before, but never could make the connection. But now I am really concerned that your Minerva and my Minerva are not the same. The Dates on our Daniels are different. And.....I found Minerva J. on two different 1860 censuses. One living with the Hoy family and one living with David Wolf and his family.
I need to really study this and right now just don't have the time. We are about to go out of town.
I will look at this more closely when I get back and I am sure I will have lots of quetions.
I will be in touch!
Can you contact me through Ancestry? I'm having a hard time finding you on there.

Would love to discuss the Hoy family with you. Daniel Hoy and Molly Flick are my 4th great grandparents. I descend from their daughter Minerva. I appreciate all the valuable information you have up on your memorials. VERY helpful! Would love to complete it with Minerva's information!
Hope to hear from you,

Thank you so much for the source. We should be able to find these volumes at the Dauphin Co. Hist. society or the state library. In the meantime I will add the info to her site in Wenrich's.

Hi, I'm looking at your edit to add the dates of birth and death for this infant. I'd like to be able to provide your source for those dates. Her parents sold the land to the denominations that built the church. We keep as many records as possible in our genealogy files for the cemetery. The Wenrichs are ,of course, a little special to us. Many people come to us wanting or giving information. Thanks for providing this additional information.

Sorry for the slow response. Laura has her messages turned off; so I cannot contact her to merge the accounts. Suggestions?

Oh-I knew you didn't live in Kansas.
|Don Calhoun||Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery-So Sad|
I don't understand what the concept is with the Find A Grave contributors in the Kansas area?
That cemetery has only 450 souls, and is only 50% photographed. I would have thought someone would have photographed the entire cemetery?
I have dropped into 4 cemeteries for a full inventory and have shot 23,000 photos.
I can't do much about it, I live 670 miles from Stuttgart. Do you have any influence in that area?
Maybe someone could be prompted to do that photo run. Stuttgart would be a one day photo run for me, I know my capabilities.
