Since retiring, I have become interested in Findagrave and have been working more on my "roots". Cemeteries have always fascinated me and now I have trouble driving by one without taking pictures. I am happy to transfer family according to FAG rules, add or link or make corrections. Please do not enter duplicates. Please do not be a "collector" of graves. If you are NOT going to add information, do NOT request a transfer just to have the entry. Sometimes there is just nothing more to add and there is no reason to transfer. You do not need the grave transferred to add pictures. And sometimes I try to add something to a grave that I have transferred and no response from the person now managing the grave. I find it very important as much information is saved as possible especially photos of the headstones as so many are in poor condition. I like to add all the information I can to my entries. I feel the person will never be forgotten if this is done. I love for family to find my entries. Feel free to use any pictures of tombstones that I have added.
