My dad died on April 27, 2013. It would mean so much to me if you left a token on his page.|

It's in here;
"Inappropriate notes will be removed, and individuals who continue to leave derogatory or politically charged notes will have their account closed. Additionally, biographical information and obituaries should not be included in a virtual flower."

I have updated the memorial for Fred
Please erase the note in the flower area. It is against policy. Thank you.

Wow! Thanks so much for your insight.
I have seen "Green" and will check my Ancestry shoebox, where I hopefully kept records.
Here are a couple of more names in that area -
1) GILL, ELLA (SICKLE):
2) 1899 Cemetery Plot owners - Van Sickle, James & Ada ................ 37
Also, please check this site for a good price on the book you crave:
My niece has FB, so will try to get her to join the VS page.
Thank you!!!! jv

|Willis Caler||Father of Jacob C Griffith|
Jacob C Griffith is my 2nd GGrandfather & I wanted to add a correction to your information & hope that you will correct the info that you posted. Jacob was born near Guard, Allegany County, Maryland to Charles and Frances (Fike) Griffith, not to Daniel Griffith. I have a copy of Jacob's obituary which I would be happy to provide to you for proof & clarification. However, there is a relationship with the VanSickle's thru Jacob's first wife, Anna Tishue. I was most interested in the information where you said that some of them went West together and returned. This is true of Jacob. He went West with a team of oxen to Missouri and possibly Kansas & Iowa, but returned to Wharton Township. I would appreciate any further info that you might have, as I have not been able to determine the dates of his trip West & return. Thanks! Jacob's first wife was Anna Tishue, and they had 5 children.(from obit) I assume Anna died, as Jacob remarried Mary Ann (Stark) Eckles, who had 2 children & together they had 10 of their own. (Mary Ann's first husband died in the Civil War). After Mary Ann's death, Jacob married for a third time to Hettie Guernsey of West Virginia, but no children from this union. Thanks for all your research & effort! Sincerely, Lois Caler

I was happy to leave a flower on his memorial. I've lost both my parents and miss them very much. At least they are no longer in pain. Take care and thank you for your work with find a grave.
|Mary Jo C. Martin||No worries, mate!|
Sorry it took me a month to respond to your requests regarding the Van Syckel and Thomas families buried at the Milford Union Cemetery, Milford, Hunterdon Co., New Jersey. I was just so busy because it's summer vacation here!!! I started to make the changes, but then ended up transferring all of them to you because they are not my family. Feel free to edit the bios however you'd like.
I was always intrigued by the gravestone of little Edward Roy Thomas. It is quite near the gravestone of my brother Robert Harry Cosover, who passed away when he was 2 years old. That is why I took all those photos of those unrelated gravestones.
