I'm married to a wonderful man. I have 2 grown children and 2 beautiful granddaughters. I've been working on genealogy since the mid 1980's. I was born and raised in NW Indiana.|
If there are any photo's you need from this area I'll see what I can do.
I don't mind if you use the photo's I post as long as you are doing it respectfully and give credit where credit is due. I believe that genealogy and research should be shared. I am not in it for the numbers of being the one who's taken the most photo's or written the most memorials. And I will transfer any memorial that I have added to a registered family member of the person.
When I create memorials that aren't my direct ancestors, I feel it is a privilege to pass them on. I just like to help people "see" their loved ones.

Elizabeth Fox Bustard is also my friend Joan Blair's 15th GGrandmother. So cool. How are you related, if you don't mind my asking.

I replied to a question I found that was dated in early 2014.
I try to explain that word "Good" was short for "Goodie". Somebody was desperate for a last name and decided that was a good one. Albert Welles really messed up the Buel genealogy for over a hundred years with that

I may have answered this before in 2014 but Catherine Good was mother of Elizabeth Hampson who married Robert Beville William Buel was not a Beville. William Beville died 1637. Will probated 1637 .....Church burial record 1637

You know I looked at the name close up and it sure looks like Mattis. I also looked at the marriage record and it also looks more like Mattis than Mathews too. It is also fairly hard to read
He is also my 6th great grandfather. I would love to share information with you. My tree on Ancestry is Ciccone O'Neill Genealogy. Check it out and drop me a line ;-)

Good morning Carol :) No I'm not related to Sarah. The cemetery is just down the road from my house and one of the first that I photographed when I first started volunteered on Findagrave. Glad you found her!

Just wanted you to know I answered your email. As for death certificates, I do not have those as yet. My resources are limited, so if I can get hold of any death record, I will see if the cemetery name was specified. I hadn't thought of that, as a matter of fact....that would be a darned good source.
