RE: Sgt James Brown, Jr
I live in Louisiana. I have a library card that allows me to access obituaries and the information was obtained from it. If you want me to email you a copy, I will be happy to do so.

Ramirez Cemetery- Brooks County, TX
I am assuming that since you posted the photos for the "Ramirez Cemetery (also known as La Quata)" that you are the manager for this cemetery. I have two suggestions:

1) The correct spelling for the other name of the cemetery is "Las Cuatas". It means "The Twins". The ranch and the cemetery were named after two very similar lakes just to the south of the ranch site, the remains of which can be seen on the satellite view.

2) I believe the more accurate GPS coordinates for the cemetery should be 26.93906 and -98.15142. If you zoom in on the satellite view you can make out the cemetery; it is just to the northwest of the ranch site.

My grandfather's sister Maria Rita Longoria, married to Lucas Ramirez, and her family lived at that ranch and are interred in that cemetery.

Col John W. Armstrong
I was going to include a photo of the school that was named after Col. Armstrong but the picture limit on his memorial page was maxed out. If you are interested in the photo please let me know where I can put it or send it to someone.

Regards,

James

William Kapena "Billy Boy" Alameda
Dear Eddieb, thank you for the amazing job you've done on bringing together all the public information about my father-in-law, William Alameda, who died 2 months before my wife Sarah was born. You have found all the news articles from Hawaii when she first found out about her Hawaiian family and we first visited them.
One piece of additional information, is that W.K.Alameda was mentioned, together with about 20 other heroes from the War, in the book "Heroes from the Wall" by John Douglas Foster.
You can find it on Amazon - it will be a very good read for you.

If you can send me your information privately, I would like to give you a book, as an appreciation for all the great work you're doing.

Larry Green
Hello, my name is Dan and I was in the Marines during the early years of OIF. Anyways I noticed that you are Larry Green's stepsister, at least I assume you are. I just wanted to let you know that I wear his bracelet everyday and I consider it a great honor to do so. Semper Fi.

Military photos
Hi, I was just curious how you came about all of the military photos you have posted. I have quite a few military men on my site and could use some photos. Is there a particular site you obtain them from.
