Jim (Dr. Mo) Moshinskie, PhD, CPT, is a Baylor University professor, a Arkansas and Texas licensed funeral director / embalmer for over 40 years and managing partner of the ten Higginbotham family funeral homes in Central Texas, a former paramedic instructor at Texas A&M University, award-winning EMS administrator, and an award-winning funeral service historian since 1967.
He lives in Waco, Texas (2007) where he is the managing partner of the OakCrest Funeral Home (www.oakcrestwaco.com),Pecan Gove Funeral Home (www.pecangrovefuneral.com), and Grace Gardens Funeral Home (www.gracegardensfh.com). RE: James B. McCaffrey All three are buried together in Section L next to them are some Foster's that are also related to them. I looked at the original photo the top of the stone is unreadable. at the bottom it says at rest. I think the death date is 1813.
RE: McCaffrey Memorial 97583810 All I could find about about him is that he is buried in the Lexington Cemetery with his wife and a child in Section L. He must have left his family to help in the Civil War. I found them in the 1850 census together, and in 1870 they were separated. I couldn't find them 1860. J B's birth year is unclear.
