Hardy Flowers
Hello,
I see you manage a memorial for Hardy Flowers (1756-1836). He was the brother or half brother of my ancestor, Grey Calhoun. Are you related?
Thanks,
Shella Robertson

Agnes O Braley
Deb.. will change the spelling of Collinsworth.

There is no G. in Collinsworth and it confuses
the researchers.

Collinsworth County Texas made that same mistake
they added a G... Read on line about the county..

Agnes O. Braley is my great grand mother.
Thanks you Barbara LeMeilleur Hill

Lee Annie Townsend 51034327
Hi,
It appears there might be a dulicate of Lee Anna (Lannie) Townsend Styers on Find A Grave. Another contributor has posted her as Lannie Townsend Styers with this #67153644, with a headstone pictured.
Would you please look into this and let me know?
Thank you!
Pam Tanner

William Marshall Love
Would you please contact me at bluebonnetgal@comcast.net regarding William Marshall Love. I think we have duplicate memorials. My William Marshall love was born and died on the dates as yours; has a marker in Chriesman Cemetery in Burleson Co, TX and was married to Mary Sophronia Atkinson and had several children. Would you like to get this sorted so there are not 2 memorials for the same person. I read what you had transcribed and it's confusing!
Thanks!

DSmith, thanks so very much. 3 quick questions for you:
1) Is it correct to assume that the "Shimek Cemetery" is the same as the "County Line cemetery" and "buried at the church" phrases that are mentioned in the newspaper accounts?
2) What was the name of the church mentioned, and are you aware of any specific plotting of graves that were recorded?
3) Do you know if anyone has ever "probed" that cemetery for buried tombstones? I have several family cemeteries here and there which I was able to gently probe into the ground with a rounded piece of rebar steel---bent like a walking cane---and uncovered some tombstones that had fallen over and had been buried over time. Best done after a few rainy days when the ground gets soft enough. It can be tricky, but the stone's shape can be tapped to the edges, then the sod can be carefully cut and removed to begin the process. Takes a real zealot for the process---probably not a practical exercise unless there were solid accounts of old stones being neglected, then disappearing under the grass. I would usually spend about one day working on a few rows where there were obvious burials.

Anyway, thanks very much. I really appreciate your hard work. Thanks for the kindness, too. God bless.
