Hi, my name is Gordon Philbin.

I love history and giving actors and people that were part of history on my FindAGrave page.

I just started today and I do hope people comment on my people I have listed.

When I am older, I plan to go to Hollywood and become an actor and director.

I find that I'm still confused regarding the Find a Grave site. There seems to be nothing so simple as an identifiable e-mail address involved on this site. I have their FAQ but it is totally confusing to me. Anyway do I understand correctly that you have requested a search in St. Catherine's Cemetery for Jerome J. McCabe? I will be glad to undertake that but am unclear to whom I address this fact.

RE: Robert Bailey #92247958, Chapel of the Pines
Hi Gordon,

Thank you for the information. It appears to me that there is a problem with the management of Chapel of the Pines. Apparently, the owner does not open the facility unless you have an appointment set up, but will also not respond to phone calls or mail, so there's no way to set up an appointment.

I'm going to try to see what can be done about this but I don't know that I'll be able to do anything. I suspect that photo requests for Chapel of the Pines will go unfullfilled for some time.

Robert Bailey #92247958, Chapel of the Pines
Hi Gordon,

Sorry for the blank message I just left--my computer is being weird today. What I meant to ask you about your memorial for Robert Bailey is this: How did you find the exact location of his memorial? I have been trying to find this information for one of my family members that is interred at Chapel of the Pines but have been unable to do so yet. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for maintaining the virtual memorial for Justin. He was my best friend and I'm glad he is being remembered.

Irina Demick
Hi, Do you have any idea what happened to Irina Demick after her movie career was over? That over 3 decades of living. I wonder how she ended up in Indianapolis and how she felt about leaving acting behind.

We searched at the Mt. View Cemetery in San Bernardino, CA.but did not find a grave site. The web pages are not always up to date, so I would suggest a call: 909-882-2943. Another thought is search all the cemeteries in S.B. county.

RE: Mark Daniels
I don't. I think that he was estranged from his father and probably other people in the family.
One of my aunts had some movie magazines from the WW2 period which featured him as up-and-coming heartthrob but his career never really took off afterwards.
In 1994, on the 50th anniversary of the film version of Moss Hart's Broadway play "Winged Victory", in which Stanley had a leading role, I wrote Hart's widow, Kitty Carlisle, if he had shown up for the party that was held, and she said that he hadn't, and that no one else seemed to have known of his whereabouts. In fact, he had died a few years earlier.
