Bio and Links
Bio Photo I caught the cemetery/family history bug from my parents. It seems like our family vacations centered around which ancestors we were researching at the time. I've been to many cemeteries that are "just down the road a bit, past the red barn, and to the right of the oak tree"... ☺

I've been doing family history for thirty years and love it. I feel like I know my ancestors, and it's amazing to see what trials so many of them went through.

I've set up many memorials from cemetery records in hopes of locating ancestor's burial locations, so if I have any of your friends or family members that you would like to maintain, please let me know and I will gladly transfer them to you.

Note: While Findagrave wasn't originally meant to be a genealogy site, it has become one since it is now owned by

Samuel Wheeler in Brookfield
I see that you recently added 4 memorials to Brookfield cemetery. Those burials are actually much more likely to have been in West Brookfield or North Brookfield - it was all one town at the time. The "Old Cemetery" in North Brookfield is the most likely, and has not been completely represented on this site. All known burials in Brookfield Cemetery from that time are already listed. Not that there are not lots of unmarked graves there; just trying to point you to a potentially more accurate site.

Hi Anita:
Thank you for filling the non-request for transfer of my g-g-granduncle and family. I will give them a good home and perhaps be lucky enough to add more to their histories. As for the others, we and most Hurlb--ts in Southern Nova Scotia descend from Titus 1st, so I would accept them and try to make the necessary connections. I only wish someone in the Yarmouth area would begin contributing to F-A-G. The Canadian Gravemarker Site doesn't seem to get any activity there either. I am interested in the sources, the email address is (not hidden), I just screen out the unwanted mail.

Thanks much, Jerry
