RE: gen Jacob Bayley
Thanks Bill. I appreciate the information. I didn't know they do that. I was trying to deal with my great grandfather and I will use the email to get him set as "famous". I didn't select that famous option when I put his memorial up and since have found other that were had. One of the corrections that you don't have an easy way to do it. lol
thanks again

Ellsworth Bunker
I served as Ambassador Bunker's personal bodyguard in the Dominican Republic in 1965-1966. I read the information you posted about Ambassador Bunker on this website and appreciated it very much. I knew he had died in 1984 but did not know where he was buried. It was the greatest honor of my life to serve as his bodyguard. We had many personal conversations during his evening walk after dinner about the civil war in the Dominican Republic and the direction and outcome of the U.S. involvement in Vietnam. He was definitely a hawk and could get the job done. I always felt that we had high mutual respect for one another and I was always provided with the necessary resources to protect the Ambassador and his staff. I wondered if he has any living relatives?

William J Duane
I was looking at William Duane's grave site and I think there is a mistake. William John Duane was born 9 May 1781 in Ireland. According to The Benjamin Franklin doc. and the Pennsylvania Historical Society. On William Duane's grave site it shows William John Duane as his son, mother Margaret Hartman Marko Duane. Margaret's first husband was Benjamin Franklin Bache 1769 - 1798. She then married William Duane 1760 - 1835. I don't believe it would have been possible for her to have had William John Duane in 1780 before her 4 children from Bache and when she would be 10. Is there away to look at that on the site as I cannot fix it and shouldn't if I am wrong. My husband's family is related to William John Duane and we are gathering items of interest for the 100th birthday this July of Mary Duane Humphrey's and therefore my interest. Thanks Dana
