Bio and Links
Bio Photo We live in the corner of three counties northwest of Des Moines, but are willing to extend beyond that to help someone find their loved ones resting place.
When we search for family stones, we usually take photos of stones that aren't on FAG in the same cemeteries we are searching.
My husband Alan has become involved in taking the photos. Many times he will make comments and sign his name.
We both enjoy the great outdoors and doing lots of walking. Volunteering is one of our passions, helping others.

Good morning, I was just wondering if you were related to Mr. Hanson?

Thank you for all you do.

Hello Bethalene,

First I want to thank you for all your hard work in supporting these sites.
I believe you have an error in Find A Grave Memorial #102208953.

You show Hannah Spohn Hupp ( born 4 Mar 1816- Died 24 Dec 1887)as being married to Eli Hupp ( Born 23 apr. 1844- Died 24 Apr. 1916 ) This is not correct.

Hannah was married to John Hupp,( Born 1816- Died 1847) his second wife and his first wife was Mary Donohue. Eli Hupp was never married and he is the son of John Hupp and Hannah Spohn Hupp.

I hope this is helpful.

Regards,

Mike Wise

I very much appreciate that you made the memorial for my husband's great grandfather. I just learned his name less than an hour ago. Thanks, too, for the photo.

I would like to ask for your permission to use that photo (and others you may have taken of gravestones of my ancestors) in my family tree on ancestry.com. Because the photographer has a copyright for each photo, I always ask before using a photo on another web site. I will, of course, put your name as the photographer and the web site of the memorial(s) as the source.

Thank you for considering my request,
Jacki

Are you related to the Christensen's? I may have asked you this before! That's what happens when one gets old and forgetful......

I'm west of Des Moines about 40 miles.

Which President
As I travel up the Perkins line (My wife is an Athey), there are several references to a relationship with an American POTUS. I was thinking either Kennedy or one of the Adamses. Do you know which it is?

Alan:

That would be excellent; thank you.

I had hesitated to ask for a memorial transfer for such a remote collateral ancestor.
