|Linda Mekeel||RE: Hughson Family|
Thanks very much for your help. I have posted photos on my tree of some members of the family. Unfortunately I have a lot of unidentified photos. But I hope you enjoy seeing what I have.

Geraldine is my mother. I am on ancestry.com and would appreciate more information on the Hughson line. There are several family Bibles in my possession now. I have been recently going through all the photos and other memorabilia which is now entrusted to me and I expect the Hughson details is in the Reynolds Bible (Beulah Hughson married Roy Reynolds)
|AAW||Benjamin P. Bedell|
Do you know the names of the parents of Benjamin P. Bedell, first husband of Cornelia Foster?
I noticed Long Island Genealogy had him as being one of my lateral ancestors, but I believe that website confused him with Benjamin S. Bedell, who also married a woman named Cornelia. But that Benjamin Bedell was the son of a Jacob Morton Bedell and Lydia Whealey, both buried in Greenfield.

My grandmother was Beulah Hughson (Reynolds) daughter of Theron Hughson. I was thrilled to see the obituaries you had published on find-a-grave. I have put a photo of Beulah's grave on this site. She was buried in the Ballard-Barrett cemetery in Mahopac Falls, NY. Born August 29, 1892 and Died November 3, 1968. She was married to Roy Rosell Reynolds. I would love any more information on the family. Theron died when my grandmother was a baby so our info on the family is minimal.

Saw your extensive work on the Summerbell Family. I'm betting you are directly related. If so, we are probably distant cousins. I was going to ask for Grandparent transfers, but as you are probably also a direct relative, opted just to share my lineage with you.
Here is how I'm connected:

Sarah Lawshe Summerbell (1846 - 1926)
Daughter of James Joseph
James Forbes Wardner (1877 - 1952)
Son of Sarah Lawshe
Hallie Elayne Wardner (1905 - 1980)
Daughter of James Forbes
Cynthia Rose Cauger (1934 - )

I am awaiting an email from the caretaker of Cold Spring cemetery who is supposed to be researching all of the grave photos that have been requested. When I hear back, I will go there again and see if I can help you.
|KimPS||Hughson and Squire in Cold Spring|
I can transfer the memorials to you if you want so you can add information as you find it. I have taken photos of all the other Hughson and Squire graves I came across while at Cold Spring yesterday. I will add them as I am able to. And if there are any you would like me to transfer to you, just let me know and I will do so.

I went down to PRC today and asked for more info in the office. I have some bad news - yes they are buried there all in an unmarked plot: Section E Lot 39. The following people are in this plot:
Fanny P. Hughson 1814 - Dec 1882
Abraham Hughson Sep 1887
Maria Sep 1864
Benton C. Feb 1865
Monfort Mar 1865
I was all set to photo a grave marker, but an empty lot would probably not be very satisfying? If you want to put a memorial there I am sure you could arrange something with PRC?

I am at present doing the stones and listing on the Chester A Stanton Memorial Cemetery for the Town of Mamakating Cemetery Committee of which I am chairman. I have the photo for Henry Williams and will be posting it within a couple of days for you. I am doing the cemetery in alphabetical order but will post this one so you can have it. Notice above the proper name for the cemetery. Also I am archivist of the Mamakating Historical Society and we would be grateful if you would share your genealogy for the Museum We are trying to collect as many of the towns people that we can. You can contact me under this email and from there we can discuss this. Helene Goetschius
