|klassikat||RE: Followup - Oscar Carpenter's wife|
Hi, I haven't forgotten you. It might be Spring before I find the answer as I have to meet with my cousin. My second cousin didn't know but thought his mother would. Later.

Hi, I don't but I may be able to find out. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for asking. Andi
|sec412 ||Thank You!!!!!!!!!|
I know I was such a pest with all the edit messages in regards to the surname Gutches (one 's') but when I was searching I had a terrible time finding records for them because of the "s" problem. And this wasn't just on Find A Grave!!!! There are some whose markers really do have the double 's' inscribed on them. Whether part of the line I'm researching or maybe a completely different one I haven't decided yet.
Thank you for all your work in posting memorials and heeding edit messages.

Are you part of the Lamoreaux family? My maternal great-grandmother Eliza Jane Lamoreaux Wilson is related to John and Charity Davenport Lamoreaux who migrated to Lapeer Michigan after their children were grown. My part of the family stayed in Orange County, NY.
The William Harrison you mention in the Lamoreaux Cemetary is my 3rd cousin 4x removed- at least on one line. His father John Lamoreaux is the grandson of Jean Lamoreaux, who was in the Revolution. Jean's wife Charity Davenport, is the sister of William's mother's grandfather Oliver Davenport- who also fought in the Revolution.

|Phil Campbell||Eldred Memorials|
Thanks for the recent transfers of the Eldred memorials in McCafferty Cemetery.
Have a great day,
Kathy & Phil Campbell
|Richard Bowles||Nora Smith @ Webster Cemetery|
Nora Boles married and divorce William Smith. The entry on the stone is her married name. I have no idea what her S middle initial stays for.
|Carolyn Sebastian||Alma Trott Dodds|
Would you show her husband in the relationship area?

I have recently endured finding some info on this family (distantly related) he was Arctus Black (other spellings are from bad handwriting ! LOL) he was born 1838 in Blackscorner, Lapeer Michigan and married Sabra Howland and she was married in imlay, michigan as well.
they had Addison Daniel Black bl 4/24/1868 ALmont, Lapeer, michigan and died 6/1/1934 in cleveland, ohio but buried at marlette michigan.
second child was Anneliza Black born 1870
third was Erdine Black b. 1872
not saying your info is wrong sooooo maybe our two sets of info need to be combined?
my info came off mostly Addisons death cert as well as the census records from 1870,80,1900, 1910, etc..
any questions please feel free to email me at
