I have been doing family research for over 12 years without any "formal" training so I guess that make me a "Jackleg Genealogist"- researching Diehl, Deal, Hartman, Showalter, Wampler, Crow, Crowe, Jett and Gibson among others.|

The name on the memorial is listed as Kyle Sheldon Ford. I believe the middle name should be Seldon. His birth certificate and marriage certificate spells it as Selden. The Virginia death records spelled it as Seldon. I put in an edit request. Thank you.

Thank you for removing 'Decatur Richard Robertson' from Spangler. I am his grandson and remember him well. His correct name is Madison Decatur Robertson, but he did not want to be called Madison. He went by Decatur which soon became "Dick". He is buried along with his wife Lottie Ellen (Jackson) in Roselawn Cemetery in Terre Haute, and also a son Donald and grandson Donnie, etc. J. Houston
Dear Marlin: Can you please help me identify Decatur Richard Robertson? Where did you find the record that this person is in Spangler? And who is his family...spouse? parents? children? This looks a lot like our family member who is NOT in Spangler. We are descended from George Robertson of Spangler also.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Marlin, Thank you for the addition of her obit. Made some other updates. Not exactly certain how F-a-G handles second marriages so someone using the search function can find both her married surnames. Thank you for your contribution to Find-a-Grave. Wm Neff

Yes, the photos themselves show up fine. What I mean when I say the "photo icon" is the little tombstone that shows up in the index list when there is a picture attached to the memorial. There are tombstone pictures attached to both memorials I sent you, but the tombstone icon doesn't appear on the index page. I don't think it is a problem either of us can fix, but I'm going to bring it to the attention of the webmasters and see if they can fix it.

Hi, for some reason the photo that you uploaded to this memorial: Find A Grave Memorial# 44670527 is not producing a "photo" icon in the index. Is there someone we can report this to?
I also have a picture of this stone, and could upload it to see if that will trigger the icon. What do you think? -- Jean Cooper (JLC) firstname.lastname@example.org
