|Your tombstone stands among the rest;|
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
I am researching the families of:

|CarmasKid||Pelkey grave markers|
I was out at St. Mary's/Mt. Calvary today. I found some Pelkeys but not the two you requested. I didn't have enough time to walk the whole cemetery. I'll look again next time I'm, out there.
I don't know how much you know about St. Mary's. It has no identifying markers for grave location and there are no sexton records available either. There are many stones broken and/or upended. Luckily its probably got less than 2,000 graves because you just have to walk it all and hope to see what you're trying to find.
|Julie Kennedy-Carpenter||Thank you for the heads up!|
Thanks for the heads up on the subject you just sent me! I really appreciate it! Julie
|Robin Workman||RE: Paul Gilbert Laginess|
I didn't get any corretion info to confirm, so I transfered it to you.
|Richard Van Wasshnova||RE: Michael Streicher|
Thank you for pointing out my bad connection to Mike Streicher. I knew Mike and Charlie Streicher as 2 bachelors living together on Streicher Road. They were moms cousins and dad worked their farm while my brother and I played in their yard and barn. We got turkeys from their nephew, Danny Ferstle next door.

You say you're researching the Venier family. From what area, my friend married a John Venier from Gibraltar.

Hi Jared, It was so nice to talk to you today. I thought more about the family photos after we got off the phone. I may be interested in some to show my children their family roots! It would be awesome to see pics from Walters younger years. I could distribute pics too as I am in contact with a couple of the family members from the Arrasmith family I keep in touch with Johnny's family and Also Nieces from Groth Family cousins off my children. If you could share these Either scan and send or mail. It would be great. Thanks for all your efforts to piece these family roots together. God Bless You and Merry Christmas, Rita
|Rita Bagley||RE: Hi there|
Hi Jared , You could give me a call and would be easier to talk and maybe get you some more info so you can connect with the family. I just today saw this e-mail link to you in my mail box. Do give me a call 574-277-4945. Sincerely, Rita Groth Bagley Fred was a great Uncle to my Kids!
I came across Anton Krzeminski on Ancestry.com while researching my Krzeminski relatives in the Toledo area. My Great-Grandmother, Michalina Krzeminska lived with her sister Leokadia shortly after arriving in the US in 1907.
I noted from the 1910 Census that there was an Ingacy Krzeminski living right next door to my GGmother. When I followed his trail back, figuring he was probably related, I found that he had lived at 180 Dexter St in Toledo in 1898. Viewing the image of the City Directory, I saw that an Anton Krzeminski also lived at 180 Dexter that year.
Could this be your GGfather Anton? Do you know the relation to Ignacy (Ignatz)? Or if there is a relation to Michalina?
Thanks in advance for your reply,
Strangely enough, I used to live in New Boston, MI and attended St. Stephen's Catholic School and Church.

Hi Jared. My name is Andrea. My mother, Elvira Mogyoros and I were searching for information about her father, Zsigmond Mogyoros and we came across this website. We are interested to know if you have information about the Mogyoros family. Zsigmond passed away 2 weeks before my mom was born, Rose her mother had no contact with the family after mom was born, so we don't know anything about the Mogyoros family or their history.
Kind regards, Andrea

I will try---will be going there next week. The two people you are looking for are not on this site (I checked) but you might like to look at it--Ellis Library & Reference Center, Monroe MI Go to genealogy link: resources available at MCLS-newspapers- obituaries. Gives name of person, maiden name of female, name of husband/wife, maiden name of wife, parents w/maiden name of mother. It is great. Can also use: name contains, so looking for someone and want to find a last name with what the mother or wife's maiden name was can take you there also. Diana
