|Bio and Links|
OK..so I've been doing Find-a-Grave for a while now and have decided to change my bio a bit.|
Here are my thoughts on this stuff.
Relax..enjoy what you're doing otherwise you should stop before you get too far into it. No man is an island and this certainly can't be done alone. Rather than complain about someone's work...help them with it.
TRANSFERS: I transfer on a case by case decision. If for any reason, you can't maintain the memorials I've transferred to you, I'll be more than happy to take it back...please don't ask for a transfer of group surnames.
PICTURES: If I've taken a picture or attached a document ... please help yourself...no need to give me credit. I don't need to toot my horn or have it tooted. I've added them to the memorials for everyone to use. If you want to attach a picture to my memorials that are better than mine...please do so. I welcome them, but keep in mind I might use them in Ancestry.com if they're in my family tree. MY ONLY REQUEST IS THAT MY PICTURES AREN'T LIFTED AND PLACED ONTO A DUPLICATE MEMORIAL OR MEMORIAL LISTED AS UNKNOWN....thanks again in advance.
EDITS: If there are errors in any of the memorials that I've entered please let me know. I'll be glad to correct them as well as make any changes necessary. PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON.
FLOWERS: PLEASE PLEASE don't use the flower section as a place to add a bio for the memorial...that isn't where it belongs. If I happen to come across one on a memorial that I've created, I will ask you to remove it. I'll gladly add it to the bio...just send me an EDIT. If it isn't deleted in a timely amount of time I will ask email@example.com to remove it.
DUPLICATES: Duplicates happen...it's impossible not to happen. We've all created duplicates. I will gladly delete mine IF IT WAS CREATED AFTER YOUR MEMORIAL. Please keep in mind that some duplicate memorials are actually cenotaphs.
It's hard for me to understand that these memorials belong to any one person....I believe they belong to "all" of us.
A sincere THANK YOU to all the Find a grave volunteers for all the hard work, help and dedication that you've given me.

Thank you so much for taking the pictures of my ancestors' gravestones in Whitefield. I recently submitted an application to the DAC through this line and referenced their gravestones!
|Judy Ure||Georgianna Hobbs|
Thank you SO much for taking a picture of Georgeannah's grave marker - wow! It is really hard to read, but you did a great job in getting the best light possible!
I really appreciate it! Best wishes ~

Want to tell you how much I appreciate the photo you took, and sent, of my ancestor, Rev. George H. Pinkham. He is one that has caused hours of research trying to find out about some episodes in his life. Having his gravestone photo to post has made my day. I live in Texas, so if you have any requests for down this way, please let me know. Thanks again.

Hi Connie -- Thanks so much for posting the photo of Charles Currier's tombstone. He was my great-grandfather. I appreciate your time and trouble!
|Ross A Peot||John Blakeslee|
Hi Connie: Ross here Fredericksburg.
Find A Grave 73776681. I don't recall if we are related or not. John is in my direct line. Where did you steal the picture? lol. I haven't done much in genealogy since the weather is nice so I have that mental lapse. lol. I have that picture as well but I don't remember if it was one that I was able to ID with a name on the back. I will have to check. I have a series of pictures that I haven't been able to identify. If in fact we are related, I can send what I have and see if you might have some of the same. We recently visited our daughter in CA and was able to meet a cousin I never knew near Sacramento. Had a very nice visit. I started a project I think it was last year identify all those who have served in the Armed Forces in my family line. That has been my focus. Our daughter took us to a flea market in Oakland that was located at the Army Terminal. I believe that is where I left from in 1965 for a tour of duty in Korea. Planning on a trip to New Orleans late April to see the WWII Museum. My mom is buried in Gretna so we will take a trip over there as well. Hope all is fine your way. Ross A. Peot

|Farrar and related families||On behalf of the Farrar family .. Thank you.|
You sent me three emails to delete my duplicates. If you can get the other contributor to update her memorials then I will delete them. She won't do any request that I ask her to do. Thank you.
