Thank you in advance for visiting my sister, Sandy|
and my mother, Elsie.
I am so grateful to everyone that leaves flowers for them.
One of my hobbies is Wheres George.com
When time permits, please leave flowers for the following:
July Mary Billups
July 4 Robert Akins
July 6 Darrell Badgley
July 6 Sandy Schuyler
July 7 Elsie Banks
July 9 Lawrence Kimble
This is a poem that I stumbled upon (author unknown):
Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.
God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you
...no one will ever know.
I was born and raised in Norfolk, VA. I've lived in FL, NY, CA, WA, and OR.
I found Find A Grave by accident. It has become one of my favorite sites to visit. It has given me a place that I can remember my mother and my sister Sandy and honor their memory right from my desk. Thank you Find A Grave.

Strangers in the Box
By Pamela A. Harazim
Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still, serene.
I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like.
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where, when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday to be tossed away?
Make time to save your pictures,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.
"If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
There might be some of them, perhaps,
You wouldn't want to know.
But, here's another question, which
Requires another view,
If you could meet your ancestors,
Would they be proud of you?"

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your cemetery photo on my family website. Check it out at http://freienmuth-shortridge.com/ernst/buchheim-cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.
Also, I wonder who I should contact to take a photo of the grave marker for my aunt and uncle who are buried there. I have their grave location.

Just wanted you to know, regarding your photo request in March for the stone for Charles Jarvis at Arlington National -- his burial was in late May, so his stone is not in place yet. I checked yesterday and will continue to check, and will photograph it and post photos and notify you when the stone is in place.

I was working on this for my sister. Her mom Connie Seawell, passed away last month and will be interred Jun 27, near her grandfather Frank. I manage he dad's memorial - Leon Seawell. Would you transfer Frank's to me so that I can link his family? Or if you would prefer to manage it I can send you the information.
