I am retired and enjoy working on genealogy as a hobby. I have a masters degree from the University of Oklahoma and I'm using my research skills to hunt down my ancestors.|
www.findagrave.com is a terrific web site.
My ancestors include but are not limited to:
Allison, Campbell, Morris, Johnson, Holdsworth, Baird, Kirkpatrick, Phillippi, Worley, Sweeney, Vaught, Watson, Dale, Wheeler, Hoyt, Newman
I make an effort to connect husbands, wives and families using obituaries and census records.
As many of you know, I have spent hours taking photos in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City in order to create memorials. I also do research in the Oklahoma Historical Society Library for some of my memorials.
Member: Oklahoma Historical Society, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Civil War Trust, Friends of Mt Vernon, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, National Women's History Museum, Pulaski Co KY Historical Society, Cornerstone Genealogical Society (PA), Morrow Co OH Genealogical Society, Osborne Co KS Historical Society.
Use the "Suggest a Correction" feature on the appropriate memorial to submit information or any requests. I follow the Find-A-Grave guidelines regarding the transfer of memorials. Any transfer requests should only be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
If you send a request for transfer of a memorial, please explain exactly how you descend, generation-by-generation, from that person.
My photos may be used in your family trees. They are not to be used in cemetery books/CDs that are to be sold.

If you would like for me to change something all you have to do is ask me. I surely didn't post a nice picture to offend you in any way. There is no reason to be rude and attack me and my photos which were beautiful by the way. I took a few pics of surrounding graves when I was visiting my relatives and just thought I would post a couple of them. The day was beautiful and sunny and the grass was green. If you prefer your muddy ground and dry grass pictures that is fine. The family might like my picture with sunshine and green grass. There is no reason to attack me and send me multiple rude messages. This site has brought me a lot of joy and I sure didn't expect to get a bunch rude messages on it. Some of these people are my relatives. Again, if you see something that needs to be changed just send me a nice message next time and I will make the appropriate updates.

Is Mary E. Stinnett Brooks a relative? She is just above H. G. in the Mausoleum.
|C. L. Hines||Stinnett|
I could find an H> G> Jr. in the
Mausoleum but no H. G.Sr.
If you send a request for Jr. I will post it.

Mary Johnson (1749-1818) is my 4th great grandmother. She married John Colton Jr and my grandmother was a Colton descendent.
Mary John spouse John Colton Jr. (both b/d England)
William Bethel Colton Spouse Sarah Bingham
(both b/d England)
Jacob William Colton emigrated to Ontario Canada in 1843 with his brother Thomas Bethel Colton and his spouse and family. Jacob married Mary Ann Elizabeth Ward born Ontario Canada.
Hope this helps.
