Thank you in advance for visiting my sister, Sandy|
and my mother, Elsie.
I am so grateful to everyone that leaves flowers for them.
One of my hobbies is Wheres George.com
When time permits, please leave flowers for the following:
May 31 Johannes Muschol
June 1 Jerry Carpenter
June 2 James Klink
This is a poem that I stumbled upon (author unknown):
Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.
God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you
...no one will ever know.
I was born and raised in Norfolk, VA. I've lived in FL, NY, CA, WA, and OR.
I found Find A Grave by accident. It has become one of my favorite sites to visit. It has given me a place that I can remember my mother and my sister Sandy and honor their memory right from my desk. Thank you Find A Grave.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Strangers in the Box
By Pamela A. Harazim
Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still, serene.
I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like.
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where, when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday to be tossed away?
Make time to save your pictures,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.
"If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
There might be some of them, perhaps,
You wouldn't want to know.
But, here's another question, which
Requires another view,
If you could meet your ancestors,
Would they be proud of you?"

Neil, It has been a long times since I thought of you, but seeing your flowers for our grandma, I had to write.
If your "little gray cells" are anything like mine, we should overlook the time and distance between us, and start again from scratch?
I have some family info you may want to have, along with photos. My address is below.
|Linda Carpenter Shindler||my brother Jerry Edward Carpenter in MO|
Today is my brother's birthday and I saw your memorial for a veteran. Thank you for doing this for my brother. Linda
|Kate Duvall||Thanks for visiting my friend Carol Admire today!|

Thank you for creating a memorial for my grandfather Troy Parker. And thank you for all the work you do that helps us find our family history.
Would you please transfer maintenance of 105924899 to me so that I can add his family members and a biography?

|Terri||regarding SGT Aaron Shank|
I just found this wonderful site as I was doing a Google search on my grandmother's 1st husband.....Aaron Shank. We have a lot of information on and about him. I was named after my grandmother, Theresa. I am blessed to have all the letters from her and Aaron, along with wedding rings and honeymoon scrapbook. My mother, like myself was always very interested in Aaron and spoke about Aaron with her mom.
Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hopefully I can assist with information.
