A little about me...
Glasgow High School graduate

I have always enjoyed oral history at an early age. Wish I had asked more questions now... In 1994 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, went through surgery and chemo, I was given 3-6 years to live. So after I recovered from the treatments, in 1996 I decided to sell my home of 20 years and go on the road to research my family 1st-hand that were in my family files. I became a "fulltimeRVer" for six years; following the paths of my ancestors was a memorable experience and very humbling at times. I visited so many places I would never have visited otherwise... courthouses, libraries, cemeteries, meeting family and getting to actually stand on family land that my ancestors owned. Well, I am still here, I guess I still have ancestors to find and their stories to tell..... the oral history is out there, I just have to find the descendant that it was passed down to..

In addition to my family lines, I research Barren, Butler, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe and Warren Counties in KY. (South Central KY)

I just seen where you had posted the obit for Margaret. She was my 3rd G Grandmother. I was soooooo excited when I seen this. The info about her husband Wilburn was awesome and something I didn't know.

God Bless You and Thank You so much for adding this.

I took the time to read your bio. I"m thankful you are a fellow cancer survivor. Mine was breast cancer in 2000 -- found early, surgery, 28 radiation treatments, and tamoxifin -- but it keeps me humble.

I'm WKU grad '81, '83 (BA in History, MA in History).

If I can help you with quick questions for the Kentucky Building, or 270-745-3246.

Looking forward to learning more together.

Your dedication to accuracy
I just want to express a few words, simple but most sincere. Thank you for using your time to turn memorials from fiction to history. There are tines when I find incorrect copy-paste on wrong decedent. There are times cemeteries are entered under multiple names.
You and contributor "chobe" ARE MIRACLE WORKERS..

Alexander C Miles

Thank you for adding the obituary for A C Miles.
He is my mother in law's father and we have had a very difficult time deciphering his life journey.

Means so much to our family! Thanks, Carol
