Please visit Jakobe Bryon Bush, age 4. I've known his Mommy since she was a little girl. My heart will forever stay broken.

Cheyenne Rose Lloyd, age 8. I used to work with her grandmother and my husband works with her father, grandfather, and uncle.

Friends of my son, so sad:
Aaron Jay "Buckwheat" McCoy, age 19
James Michael "Mike" Ray, age 16
Dylan Allen Kane Boggs, age 17

Friends of my husband:
Tracy Allen Sherfey, age 26
Christopher Wayne "Chris" Morris, age 33

Colorado Springs Police Officers killed in the line of duty and were fellow Officers and friends with my brother.

There is a special place in my heart for the Moore, OK tornado victims and for the whole town. My husband and I lived in Moore and Norman in 1989-1992. Our only child was born there during that time.

My husband's niece's husband, Mark Byrd passed away Aug. 15, 2014. He was 41 years old.

My niece's husband, Aric Fleury passed away Jan. 31, 2012. He was 26 years old. It breaks my heart. I'm sure my mom is taking very good care of him!!

My mother, Marie Wolf Doll Lemesany, passed away May 18, 2011. I miss her so much!

My father-in-law, Ewell "Gene" McGowan passed away Sept. 22, 2010.

My brother, Steve passed away July 30, 2008. It was on our mother's 82nd birthday. She was never the same after he passed away. They are together now.

My step-father, Richard Lemesany was one in a million!! He married my Mom when I was almost 13. We only had him for a little over 10 years but he made our lives so much better while he was with us.

My father, Louis Doll, Jr., passed away in 1971 when I was 6 years old. Researching his side of the family has been a challenge. He was born in Monument, Liberty Township, Centre, PA. His parents were from Munson, Clearfield Co., PA. He was raised in Wharton, Morris Co., NJ, and was stationed at Camp Carson (now Fort Carson) in Colorado Springs when he met my mother in Dec. 1946. She was born in St Charles, MO and was raised in Colo. Spgs., CO. My mom was Miss Camp Carson in 1945.

I was born in NJ, raised in Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., CO, and now live in Barren Co., KY.

Researching the following:
St Charles Co., Mo- Wolf, Gentemann, LePage, Himmelsbach, Klinghammer, plus other branches and twigs!!

Clearfield Co., PA- Doll, Bailey, McDonald, Jenney, Hendershot, plus some unknowns!! Please wish me luck!!

Wharton, Morris Co., NJ- Doll

Russell Co. KY- McGowan, Harris, Tucker, Popplewell and others

If you are doing research in Glasgow, these are great websites.

Glasgow Municipal Cemetery list. It is not up to date.

If I have created a memorial of your relative in Barren Co., KY I will gladly transfer.

Sad cemetery hopping buddy moved out of state. Everybody else I know thinks I am too weird going to cemeteries!! LOL So I will not be going to cemeteries that are off the main roads until I find someone to go with me.

Summer 2011 Due to three pinched nerves in my neck I can't get out much and get photos. :(

Summer 2012 Still having problems with pinched nerves and now I have DVT (blood clots) in my left leg. Will life ever get any better?

Spring 2013 Life is not much better. I am trying to get to the Glasgow Cemetery a couple of times a week, for a very short time, to help build my strength up. It helps that I have a map of the cemetery and can go right to the plot and row to get the photos. It takes me about 3 days to recover every time I go but it brings me much joy to help others out with their genealogy work. :)

I received your correction but haven't been able to find anything other than his headstone to verify the dates. Do you have anything that shows the dates or a clearer photo of his marker?

I can't remember or find where the Crittendon came from. Crit will be fine.

I don't have a source for the middle name "Jane". I assumed that I did.

Thank you for the update. I think I used a spread sheet when I added that memorial and put the spouse on the wrong line.

Again Thank you
for noticing and letting me know

RE: John Wilson Burton, Sr
You are correct, it should be Raleigh, Wake, North Carolina. Thank you for paying attention!

RE: Alfonsa Lee Burton
That is taken from the US Census records for his parents, who were in Justice Precinct 1, Kaufman County, Texas in the 1900 and 1910 US Census.

The 1900 US Census has only one child, the oldest, Maude Cora Burton, who was born in Orange County, North Carolina.

The 1910 US Census adds 3 more children: Stanford Vance Burton (1900-1912), Alfonsa Lee Burton (1902-1920), and Grace Roberts Burton (1907-2003).

The mother, Cora Lee Roberts Burton, dies in Kaufman County, Texas on 20 Aug 1914. Sometime afterwards the father John Wilson Burton moves the family to Durham, North Carolina. He remarries on 27 Jul 1916 in Durham to a Lillie Clark.

I hope that all makes sense!
