There is a special place in my heart for the Moore, OK tornado victims and for the whole town. My husband and I lived in Moore and Norman in 1989-1992. Our only child was born there during that time.
My husband's niece's husband, Mark Byrd passed away Aug. 15, 2014. He was 41 years old.
My niece's husband, Aric Fleury passed away Jan. 31, 2012. He was 26 years old. It breaks my heart. I'm sure my mom is taking very good care of him!!

My father-in-law, Ewell "Gene" McGowan passed away Sept. 22, 2010.

My father, Louis Doll, Jr., passed away in 1971 when I was 6 years old. Researching his side of the family has been a challenge. He was born in Monument, Liberty Township, Centre, PA. His parents were from Munson, Clearfield Co., PA. He was raised in Wharton, Morris Co., NJ, and was stationed at Camp Carson (now Fort Carson) in Colorado Springs when he met my mother in Dec. 1946. She was born in St Charles, MO and was raised in Colo. Spgs., CO. My mom was Miss Camp Carson in 1945.
I was born in NJ, raised in Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., CO, and now live in Barren Co., KY.

If you are doing research in Glasgow, these are great websites.
Glasgow Municipal Cemetery list. It is not up to date.
If I have created a memorial of your relative in Barren Co., KY I will gladly transfer.
Sad news...my cemetery hopping buddy moved out of state. Everybody else I know thinks I am too weird going to cemeteries!! LOL So I will not be going to cemeteries that are off the main roads until I find someone to go with me.
Summer 2011 Due to three pinched nerves in my neck I can't get out much and get photos. :(
Summer 2012 Still having problems with pinched nerves and now I have DVT (blood clots) in my left leg. Will life ever get any better?
Spring 2013 Life is not much better. I am trying to get to the Glasgow Cemetery a couple of times a week, for a very short time, to help build my strength up. It helps that I have a map of the cemetery and can go right to the plot and row to get the photos. It takes me about 3 days to recover every time I go but it brings me much joy to help others out with their genealogy work. :)

|D. Gentemann||RE: Gentemann|
my english is very bad. i try to find out how we are related. i must ask my grandfather tomorrow for correct information.
he knew, that he had a brother who died since three years, he was 73 years old in salzgitter-bad.
we live in salzgitter, this is near hildesheim and the next "bigger" city is hannover.
my grandfather was born in salzgitter-salder and yesterday, after i find this page with the graves,i telephone with him and he told me, that he knew, that a lot of family members went to the USA.
my grandfather is born 20. august 1938, his name is Heinz Gentemann.
he told to me, that our family came from hildesheim and the neiborhood towns. and a few of them went to usa.
my mother, my sister and me have the name Gentemann.
my grandmother married him in 1962, her birth name is "Burgdorf".
i wondered a long time, that our family here in germany is so "small", i ever thougt to me, we are more. often i look on internet to find out, where others life.
since ca. two years, i saw a grave in the internet, bud i did not have more information, so i thought, this is only a accident (?) (Zufall).
time by time he told me more and more information, so i WANT to FIND out, where we are.
ohh, my name is Dominic Gentemann, i am 34 years old, birth 18.november 1980.
and i know, that the mother of my grandfather died with age 22. and she hads siblings.
in one photo i found on this page, the man looks like my grandfather !!!
at last letters in german , i dont know, that hears good in english:
Dominic Gentemann, Salzgitter, nahe Hildesheim, Deutschland.

I worked with Glen for several years. I knew Lois also. Met their son Gary before he passed and also their daughter. I don't remember her name, just that she had red hair. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for linking Grant to his family

I am transferring to you for your care "Kit" McDonald. Kit and Bill were very good friends of ours during their years at Wesbury UMH here in Meadville. Bill was one of the most gifted, intelligent persons we've ever known, as was his beloved wife. I almost never list someone in find-a-grave when the cemetery is not listed in their obituary, but I did so for Kit. I should have asked Bill, but didn't, and he never mentioned his own plans and did not want an obit. After Kit's death, Bill sat between my husband and me every Sunday service in our Wesbury Chapel. I could say much more about Kit and Bill, but don't want to take up more space. I am adding a picture of Bill to his site. He is playing my piano in our Wesbury home.

|Sharon||RE: Rev Fleming C Childress|
My first correction of Goochland County as place of birth was incorrect. Hanover County, Virginia, is correct.
William Glover Childress was the son of Fleming Childress and Nancy Wilson Glover. His grave record is at Find A Grave #117492228.

|Sharon||RE: Rev Fleming C Childress|
I doubled-checked my references for Rev. Childress. According to a biography written by his son Wm. G. Glover in 1875, Fleming Childress was born in Hanover County, Virginia.
Rev. Childress is my 3X-great-grandfather, and my father told me his middle name was Carie or Carey. One of Rev. Childress's grandsons had the middle name of Carey as well.
As far as his place of death, I only have family records that indicate he died in Barren County, Kentucky.
Thank you for your commitment to accuracy.
