Retired banker living in the east end of the Cherokee National Forest in Tennessee.|
It was through Find A Grave that I located my paternal Great-Grandparents and GG-Grandparents grave sites in Texas in early 2010. That led me to entering Memorials for our local cemeteries in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Not for the "count" but to assist others in finding the graves of their relatives and ancestors.
Ancestry should be freely shared with others. If I have created a Memorial for one of your relatives or ancestors, even "several times removed", unless they are also related to me I will be happy to transfer the Memorial to you. Please use the "edit" button and include your Contributor number.
My photos of gravestones may be used for your personal use and family trees like Ancestry.com and MyHeritage, etc. but not used for commercial purposes.

Sue, I appreciate your note. Thank you for the contact and for the research you have done on this family.
The Claywell name comes up in the Templeton family, which I am doing more research on, but I also appreciate getting info on this line as well. This is my husband's side...many of them from the Logan County, Ky. area as well as others areas of KY.
I am sure you probably already have this, but thought I would throw it in here. I will contact you again soon. DAM
This is what I have for Solomon and Peggy.
SOLOMON CLAYWELL b. abt 1725 in Accomack Co., Virginia. Died abt 25 May 1770 in Worcester Co., Maryland. He was the son of PETER CLAYWELL and LUCRETIA. Solomon married MARGARET (PEGGY) JAMES ABT 1751. (I have not personally seen the records listing Margaret's last name. I got it from the research of Mr Charles Clayvielle who has since passed away before I could get his documentation on this.) Their children are: 1. PETER CLAYWELL born 1755 in Worcester Co., Maryland. He died 17 Mar 1842 in Iredell Co., North Carolina. He is buried in Snow Creek Cem., Statesville, Iredell Co., North Carolina. He was married to JEMIMA ARTHUR 5 Aug 1777 in Bedford Co., Virginia.2. COMFORT CLAYWELL b. abt 1759 in Worcester Co., Maryland. She died in Cumberland Co., Kentucky and was marr to GEORGE RICHARDSON abt 1780 in Bedford Co., Virginia. She married secondly to EZEKIEL PORTER between 1770-1772 in Worcester Co., Maryland. Married thirdly to JOHN WEBBER 3 Oct 1794 in Campbell Co., Virginia.3.SHADRACH CLAYWELL b. 1760 in Worcester Co., Maryland and died between 1837-1838 (Will dates) on Bear Creek, Cumberland Co., Kentucky. He married AMELIA RUSH in 1779 probably in North Carolina.4. JESSE CLAYWELL b. abt 1762 in Worcester Co., Maryland and died in 1852.5.SOLOMON CLAYWELL b. abt 1764 in Worcester Co., Maryland.6. RACHEL CLAYWELL married CONRAD SPEECE 3 Nov 1796 in Campbell Co., Virginia.7. PEGGY CLAYWELL married to BEVERLY CRAWLEY.8. ZODOCK CLAYWELL B. abt 1770 in Worcester Co., Maryland and died 20 May 1813 in Bath Co., Kentucky. Married ANN in Jun 1786 in Worcester Co., Maryland. From Abstracts of Campbell Co. Virginia Wills and Inventories, Will Book 3 1810-1817 it states: Peggy Webber...6 Mar 1810/9 Apr 1810. Son John Porter the obligation on William Coleman, Son Shadrack Claywell. Daughter Comfort Richardson. Daughter Peggy Crawley. Exors. John Porter and Beverly Crawley. Wit. Henry Power, William Power, and Peter Claywell.
I find data where Shadrach Claywell, son of Solomon and Peggy Claywell has not been listed with a wife at all, but his son Shadrach born in 1784 is listed with Amelia Rush as his wife not as his mother. This son married Elizabeth Vaughan 30 Dec 1809 in Cumberland Co., Kentucky."

Vernon Rowland Sr (86624280) is listed as father and sibling to Vernon Jr. (73792162); Wife/mother is Louise Rowland (73792097). I'm not sure who has the power to adjust this, there are several creators involved. Thanks, Val

I checked and I had sent the edits to the right manager, somehow sent the proof to you. Guess I had both pages up and sent to you instead of the correct person. Again thanks for letting me know as I do like sending proof with edits I ask for.
