I am the record keeper for the PARLER family as well as the descendants of Samuel WILLIAMS and Delilah NEVILLE.|
My mother's family come from Norway and
I also have researched my husband's family in New Brunswick, Canada.
I have been doing family research for over 50 years and have made two six month research trips throughout the United States, before computers and digital cameras, using a 35mm camera and obtaining photo copies of as many documents as I could find.
I have a DAR certificate, two Florida Pioneer Certificates as well as the Daughters of the Confederation.
I am quite willing to help anyone who may request my help, and willing to transfer any memorials I have entered on your family lines.

Doris was a young widow
Doris Alice Wooten and Marvin Summerall were newlyweds when sadly, he was killed in WWII in the "Exercise Tiger at Slapton Sands". It's very interesting to read about.

Lee, Hendry & Glades county are all next to each other (and in my area). I had been researching the Summerall and Wooten line when I came across the obit for Marvin Lonnie Williams.
To answer your inquiry; I just re-read Marvin's actual newspaper obit published in "The Sun" Belle Glade, FL. It does say he was preceded in death by "wives" (plural): Doris A. (Wooten) Williams and Geraldine (Jackson) Williams.
The following are verified sources that I found (not copied from someone else):
Doris Alice Wooten married Marvin Leon Summerall Sept 10, 1943 in Moore Haven, Glades County, FL
Doris Alice Summerall married Alfred Bernard Kahn Jr. June 27, 1945 in Fort Myers, Lee County, FL
Doris Alice Kahn and Alfred Bernard Kahn Jr were divorced 1950 in Hendry County, FL.
Presumably, Doris and Marvin Lonnie Williams were married after 1950.
Marvin Lonnie Williams and Geraldine Smith were married June 13, 1970 Glades County, FL
Something that you might find interesting is on Lee County Clerk of Court Public Records (www.leeclerk.org) Click on Official Records. The quickest way to view docs is to choose "View Thumbnails" and then choose .jpeg The info shows Marvin Lonnie Williams married Martha Elizabeth Cosden May 10 1944 in Fort Myers, Lee County, FL. (I saw her name elsewhere online as Martha Cosden-Booth…unverified though). One tip about the website is divorces are listed under "Judgement". The divorces must be viewed in person at the clerks office. However, you can still see the cross-party name and date on-line. Hope this makes sense!

He is my ex husband's GGgrandfather and I went to check out his grave.I had them even look up records at cemetery. His grave, a tree grew up through the middle of it and it's all broken up,so much you can't read the stones, but they decided according to their records that was his grave. All you can get is a picture of the tree and broken stones. It's really a shame because people will never know that is him.I did take a picture for my ex husband and our grandkids.Melony Duncan Herndon McAuley
