1. Edits and other changes.
I am usually delighted to process your edits or suggested corrections. However I will neither do your data entry nor edit your spelling and punctuation. If information can be entered in specific fields, you will need to do that through the new edit system and I will accept or decline it. Other suggested changes such as biographies or requests for transfers will be honored via the "Suggest any other correction or addition" which sends me an Email with a link to the page and to you. I might fact check your information through resources available to me.
I will transfer any memorial I have created on request except those for
a. my own ancestors or in my virtual cemeteries.
b. Nor will I transfer to anyone who is listed as "Anonymous" and has a blank profile. It is difficult to trust someone who is so concealed.
c. Nor will I transfer to the terminally rude unless you document the four generation proximity of relationship required by the FAQ.
I give explicit permission to copy and use any photo I have taken and posted on Find a Grave for your own genealogical purposes. No need to ask.
I am a retired Episcopal priest who has done genealogical work for her own family since 1990. I used to serve as a Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness volunteer for Cottonwood County before that site closed. I'm still willing to do lookups. This is easy to do, as I live within a mile of the Courthouse and Historical Society. Or you can contact the Historical Society at firstname.lastname@example.org. They charge $10. per hour plus copying for research.
I am nearly done doing whole small cemeteries in Cottonwood County, Minnesota. The five of us working on that have finished all but the two city cemeteries. If I have been able to post a photo on the front page of a cemetery in CC you will find my status notes in the caption. [Feb 2013] Working on Mountain Lake from photos & register and Lakeview from a list. I am also working on comprehensive postings for columbaria in Minnesota Episcopal churches.
My daughter thought graving was a waste of time but I pointed out that it gets me out for a walk up and down "rows" in the cemetery. And a friend of hers pointed out that considering all the recent zombie movies it's good to remember this: It is far better to be looking for dead people than to have dead people looking for you! Enjoy!

Charles E & Susan Zea have a Marker. I will wait for you to post the page.
|Charles Zea||RE: wrong ID|
Thank you for your response. It is understandable as to what happened.
One other issue is that my grandparents, Charles E. and Susan (Laub) Zea do not appear on the grave register.
Their graves are located on the same lot as my father and mother, Raymond C. & Mary Zea

You have a Curtis Zea listed at the Butterfield cemetery. I know for a fact the is no Curtis Zea buried there.

All looks good now. thanks Bob

Thanks for making the change.
Leadner and Helen were 2nd cousins and I had them verify all the dates etc. prior to writing my Dirks history book in 1997.
I think if you look real close at the two headstones they will match exactly.
The headstone for Harold John Wiens is obviously a different Helen?
I will take a look in my genealogy program and see if I can find Harold's wife and let you know.
Perhaps you could also remove the wording married 11/21/1941 in Cottonwood country. Leadner and Helen were married Aug. 14, 1953 in Dalmeny, Saskatchewan.
Thanks for the changes. Bob Dirks

Thank you so much for letting me know that he wasn't in Butterfield Cemetery. I know that you offered to delete your memorial if I moved mine, but I figure that since you did the footwork and actually physically obtained a marker photo, that you deserve to retain your memorial for Harold. I went ahead and deleted the memorial I made. Thank you again, and have a great weekend coming up! :)

Minnesota Death Index has his date of death as
Feb 02, 1967. Social Security Death Index just had Feb 1967. Hope this helps.
