Bio Photo My mother, Corine Carter began researching our family in the 1950's (Canoga Park) and I began helping her in 1973.

I am so very thankful for all of you who take photos and share them with everyone! Photos validate research and give it visual reality.I believe in sharing all photos, so feel free to use them.

This photo was taken steps from where we live at Sunset Beach, Oahu.

C Barabara Roesch
I believe this is really Gotlevin Barbara Roesch mother of Christian Roesch who is also buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Virdin Macoupin County, Illinois. She was born in Germany 25 April 1831 and died in Illinois on 23 May 1894. A could be mistaken from a G and the rest matches my information on My Gotlevin Barbara Roesch. I have Germany church records, census in United States, husband's Civil War records to document my information.

I am sorry it took me so long to respond. I am not family of Amelia Kleinecke. I just love the old cemeteries.

If you are family I would be glad to transfer her grave to you, and you can add the obituary.

Let me know your preference.

Peeples Cemetery Barnwell County?
Hello Nan -

Can you tell me the location of the Peeples Cemetery? I can locate where his place was on the 1825 Mills Atlas of Barnwell District. I am interested because family history that has been passed down is that Rev. Peeples bought the home of Cornelius Tobin, "Fairmount" - I am a direct descendant of Cornelius Tobin. Information that I have is that the Peeples later sold it to the Reynolds family and was called the Old Reynolds Place. The home was demolished in the 1920's. I live in Columbia, SC and would be interested in finding its original location. Cornelia Ann Tobin Peeples, grandaughter of Cornelius Tobin is buried in the Peeples cemetery. Could this cemetery be located near the property they owned?
