I am a Dodge City native that has been dabbling in genealogy for several years. My family has been in Ford County since the late 1800's and I'm at least acquainted with most of the family names in the area. I am happy to fulfill photo requests for the area around Dodge City, KS. Thanks to all in Find A Grave that have contributed! Hope I can contribute as well. |
If a photo I've taken could be better, please let me know. You have my permission to use the photos I've taken, just give credit.
Looking for information and photos of Bestgen, Ravenkamp and Buxe.

Hi Tim, Robert Tompkin's death certificate shows his middle initial was R, but I have no documentation of his middle name. I heard it by word of mouth. DNA testing shows I'm also related to Robert (through his Tompkins line), but I'm not sure how. So are a number of distant cousins who have also been DNA tested, and are trying to break down our Tompkins brick wall. You can e-mail me at stinkystinkbug (AT) me (Dot) com if you want to exchange information. cousin Karl

Thank you so much Tim for transferring my family memorials and taking the time to take headstone pictures for me. So Thankful.
Hi Tim. Thanks for taking the pictures of the headstones for Maude and Lott Gean. I am trying to connect the family and those pictures will be a great help. Thanks, Lorren

Tim ...thank you sooooo much for the speedy photos of William and Thelma they were exactly what I wanted, perfect I must say. Also for going the extra mile and taking photos for Todd as well. It's people like you that make Find A Grave the great site that it is. Thank you again for all your work for future generations.
Thank you for the permission to use your photos. I am Glenda McClelland, Co-State Director for Kansas Gravestones Organizations. We will use your photos and give you full credit. They are wonderful and clear photos and we are proud to use them on our site. Pat Murdock and I have taken over the Kansas site in hopes of getting it off the ground so to speak. Your generosity and your work with Find A Grave are greatly appreciated by us and everyone who is searching for the resting places of our loved ones and ancestors. We are preserving the past for future generations to come.
Thank you Ron!

OMG! Thank you so much for the photos that I see you have provided for our grandparents (Frank and Lura Lilly) and their families from the Jetmore cemetery. Just a few days prior to your postings, I had asked a cousin in Kansas if they could go to the cemetery to photograph the gravestones this summer. Today I log on and see that you have added them. THANK YOU!
Thank you also Cherry Lea for the lovely job of posting our mutual families memorials!
Hugs to both of you.
