I was born and raised in LeFlore County Oklahoma , my father was born in Montgomery Co. Arkansas and my mother was born in Clay Co. Tennessee.
I have been doing family history for over 50 years and consider photos of headstones an important part of that research.

A photo has been posted of Mr. Melton's monument. I noted that his name is spelled differently on his monument than on his memorial. Also, it states he died in August rather than July.

I see that you come from Marion Morgan Smith and Rebecca Ellen Moore.
I have a cousin, that's grandfather is Marion Morgan Smith and his second wife was her grandmother (Georgia Etna Henderson). Her parents were Ellie Elizabeth Smith and Ernest Ray Arvin. Her and I have been researching our families together. I was wondering if you would like to help us out with the Smith line?

I have added his middle name and linked him to his wife Martha Jane Lake. He was already linked to his two daughters by the manager of those memorials.
