I am the very proud grandma of a U S Army soldier. I lost my beloved husband after 37 years of marriage in 2007 and still havn't gotten "over it"? I have one livng son, also an Army veteran of 22 years and my husband was also an Army veteran. We lost three sons from Cystic Fibrosis when they were in early toddler years. 19 mos. 21 mos. and 3-1/2 years.
I believe you have to go on, but sometimes (as I'm sure all of you know) it's just so hard and I wonder why I do?
This site and all it's members have been a saving grace for me. It has been awe aspiring for me. What lovly people.
Westlawn-Hillcrest Vets We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.
My Grandson, Blake Dickus Thank you so very much for taking the time to stop by Blake's Memorial and leave him a token of love. I wanted to reciprocate, but you have no virtual cemeteries. Could you send me a name so I can return the blessing of love for your loved ones? If you prefer to remain private, that too is all right. I just want to thak you from the bottom of my heart for sending my family love while recovering from your own multiple losses. God bless you and give you peace! Loss We never get over it. It's as if the losses have left pits or even chasms on the surface of our life, which we have to walk around, and which have forever marred the beautiful landscape. If you do not feel when you remember what was there before, you are not fully human. So sorry for your many losses... I could not imagine. Peace to you.
