I'm from McNairy County, Tennessee. I found this site while working on my family tree. I have a passion for genealogy. Greatfully I have found my mom and dad's sides of the family back for several generations. I'm happy to be a member of this website. Also I appreciate everyone's contributions of "Flowers" to my mother Hattie Louise Lowrance Yarbrough, my brother and sister Charles Lynn Yarbrough and Glenda Ann Yarbrough, and any of my memorials. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
My photos are available for non-commercial use.
I've met many wonderful people on this site and I'm thankful for all of them. ☆•*¨*•.¸¸.•*¨*•☆☆☆•*¨*•.¸¸.•*¨*•☆
RE: Cletis Verne Teague Thanks so much Sue...If you had not posted the memorial we would never have found his gravesite. By the way, we have a Rosa Lee Lowrance in our family tree. [1898-1936] she was the wife of a 2nd great uncle.
Photo of Celtis Teague - Marker Oh, Thank you Sue! Can't believe we found this. I did a search on the Ramer Cemetery list. This has to be it. Other close family members are listed within. Cletis Verne Teague or Verne Cletis Teague [not sure which is correct] was actually born on May 01, 1914, and died on July 15, 1917. Certificate list on Verne. But the parents are listed correctly. Father: Pleas Teague and mother M (Melissa) Teague. Neither are buried in the Ramer Cemetery. I wonder who keeps records of grave locations with details on family members?
Your Photo of Celtis Teague Regarding your photo: of Celtis Teague.Find A Grave Memorial# 145749078 Thanks for adding the photo. I was long looking for information for my mother's infant brother that only lived a few years. I Found his death certificate. My grandfather told us his name was Celtis. But his death certificate list the name only as Verne. Several other family members are in the Ramer cemetery. His death certificate lists the date of birth as May 01, 1914.(not 1915) he died on July 15, 1917. To help confirm...I wonder if this marker is located anywhere near other family members His grandmother, Mary Blasingame died in 1916; Find A Grave Memorial# 46417411. I strongly believe this marker could be his. and the birth year was made inaccurately??
RE: Ollie Mae Lawhern Thanks! I figured out last night that family members had told me the town was called Sardis, in McNary/Hardin county. Now I know it was Selma, originally in Hardin but redrawn into McNairy when it was created in 1932, 6 years after she was born. I will make a note in the bio that it is changed. Thanks for the transfer! I'll have several edits for you soon to correctly link all the Pearsons in this cemetery.
