"Through the travail of ages, midst the pomp and toils of war, have I fought and strove and perished countless times upon a star.|
As if through a glass, and darkly the age-old strife I see...where I fought in many guises, many names...but always me."
Irwin Whitehead came to Claiborne Parish, Louisiana in about 1848 from Dale County, Alabama. About 1858 Irwin and family moved to Columbia County, Arkansas.
Nathaniel Nations, a veteran of the War of 1812 was in Hempstead County, Arkansas in the 1840'S.

Please call the cemetery at 419-536-3751 to get the location of the grave and update the request. Because he was not buried within the "normal" time frame of 3-5 days after death, I can not find his location in the burial record book. Thanks!

Sorry, I do not.
|Anne Cady||RE: Katzman|
No he didn't. I checked the back of his marker and there wasn't one there, and I did see one flat on the ground in front of his marker either.

Hi, In case you don't get the usual notification, I filled your request for Frank O'Neill in L.I.N.C. I also added a picture for his wife Sally.
Have a good one...Glenn

I recently had a virus in my computer. I had it wiped it clean, but until eveyone gets their password change done, I'm very leary of opening any attachments. Have you changed your password in your email recently? That's what the most recent news said we needed to do on this latest virus.
Thanks for offering. Dona

Are you related to the Whiteheads in Tennessee? One of my biggest brick walls is finding the parents of my 2nd great grandmother, Martha Whitehead. She and her brother, Pleasant, were born in Tenn. but came to Licking, MO. I have the 1850 census and her marriage record and gravestone, that's it. I did find a Pleasant in Blount, TN. but not sure it is him. Does this information tie in with your Whiteheads? Thanks Dona
