Bio Photo Hi, my name is Debbie and I live in Fort Worth, Texas.

Thanks to my father's passion for old cemeteries, I have always been a graver at heart.

I take pictures with a great deal of respect for those who have walked before us. If I manage a memorial of a direct relative of yours (within four generations), please email me and I will transfer ownership. Please note that I reserve the right to maintain my own ancestors memorials. Also, feel free to use any of my headstone photos for your genealogy website or any other legitimate purpose.

I would like to thank all the wonderful people I have meet along the way, photo volunteers and cemetery transcribers that have help me with my own genealogy.

I'm researching the Gibbons, Sparks, Hendricks and Collins, in or around Denton County, Texas; The Crawley, Dean, Dickson, Rayburn, Riley and Brackett families from Grayson, Collin, Floyd, Crosby, Potter, County, Texas and Harmon County, Oklahoma.

Transfer of management request
Dear Debbie,....Would you mind transferring the management of Francis Garcia (memorial#100192480) to me? She is my wife's grandmother and the mother of David Garcia (memorial#146724441) that I recently added. Thank you so much for your contributions and considering this transfer. God Bless...

Back to the GILDEN search.

Can you give me the exact location of the grave site for DORA GILDEN at Ahavath Sholom, Ft. Worth TX??

I did not see it near that of Morris Gilden and Helen Gilden.

Thanks again,

Morris Gilden
Thanks again for your assistance. In Ft. Worth Texas, my mother's father, Morris Gilden, information shows Born 12/25/1876 in Dallas Texas, actually Morris Gilden came thru Galveston TX, immigration arriving August 19, 1910
On the Ship HANOVER, departed from Bremem, Germany. His country of origin was RUSSIA
his destination shown on immigration records was to Dallas, TX. The 12/25/1876 is probably incorrect. 12/25/ was my folks anniversary and that date was used as a convenience. Morris Gilden was 32 years old according to the immigration form.

TURNPAUGH photos - Mt. Olivet
I want to thank you VERY much for taking the time to photograph the graves of my grandparents (Walter & Laura Turnpaugh) & great grandparents & great grand aunt (J.W., Rosa & Inez Turnpaugh)at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Ft. Worth, in addition to your generous permission to use those photos in my Ancestry tree. I had requested new photographs by someone willing to allow their photos to be posted in my tree, due to the fact that the photographer of the older photographs, specifically forbid their use under applicable copyright laws. Living 1300 miles from Ft. Worth precluded me taking them without a lengthy trip. Again, thank you for your kindness & generosity! Kim Turnpaugh Anderson (

Madison Booth is my Great Granduncle, son of John Booth jr., Find-a-grave #20104854. John Booth Jr is buried at the Booth Family Cemetery, Washington Co., TN - a small private plot on a farm. I believe his wife and Madison Booth's mother Sarah W. Rogers may also be buried there, but it is inconclusive. Would you be so kind as to link Madison to his Father? I have a of data on the Booth family in Tennessee.

Sam Tomlinson
Yes, in my many calls with them when trying to get his brother's they told me they had seen the stone with the number on Find A Grave.
Thank you very much for doing that for me. If they do deny one I will let you know so you can repost your photos.
Thank you again and thanks for all your work in Find A Grave. It is very helpful to us seeking lost family.

Hello Debbie
I would like to ask if you would temporarily remove the photos from Sam's memorial. I am in the process of trying to get him a headstone for his civil war service and am afraid if they see the large Tomlinson stone they will not approve a headstone for him. They would not give one for his brother who had a 4X4 numbered stone. After that experience I am really afraid they will do the same with the large name stone.
I do appreciate your help with this and all your effort you have gone to in doing these photos.
