Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In my free time, I'm a military researcher / historian whose key area of interest is in the World War II and Korean War eras. However, my overall, never-ending goal is to try to acknowledge the service of all our country's warriors.

In an effort to accomplish this goal, I created the Military Hall of Honor to honor all veterans, living and deceased, and use it along with FindaGrave. Membership is free and available to all who wish to contribute military records, bios, honor the military with tributes, leave remembrances, etc.

Bio of Spc 4Martin Dean Childress
Mr Lewis, I am the niece of Martin Dean Childress. I have information that I wish to be added to his bio. He is the youngest son and 8th child of John H. Childress and Shirley Gibson Childress. They are buried right next to him. Dean has one son, Troy Childress. Dean was born Feb 7, 1944 in Pruden, Tennessee. I am making memorials for his parents and would like to have them linked. Thanks, and thank you for the work you do on behalf of our military heroes! Joanie Childress

Kenneth M Frain
Hello I am updating a family history, Berkebile Families in America, 6th edition of which Kenneth M Frain was a member. Could I have your permission to use your photo of him in the book? You would of course be given the credit for the photo.

Gen. Roger Ramey
I have a newspaper clipping about the "Rehearsal off San Diego"..Practice for Atomic Tests Are Made 200 Miles at Sea. It mentions Brig. Gen. Roger M. Ramey of Denton, TX. He was the commander of the joint army-navy task force 1. If there is a family member that would like to have it, I would be happy to send it to them. I found it in a book that was given to me. (No connection to the book and article.) I just thought I would try to find a member of the family that is interested.
Thank you, CRix #47890740

Thanks for ...
Your memorials and photos for many of my classmates and friends.
I hope someone takes and posts one of the cemetery with the WAA wreaths at this time of year, especially the view from across Dorsey Creek and including the Jeannette Monument. When I was a mid I always liked that view.

Thank you for the kind message on my Grandfather's page (Jack Garner Allen). I found this site by google and was overwhelmed with happiness when I saw that his page was not left empty.

You are very welcome. I just like it when the memorials are w/someone who at least knew them in life.
