Ahh...Thank you! That would probably be the easiest.
There is also the memorial for his wife Peggy.
If you could transfer that as well. I will tie everybody together and delete the extra I did for her.

|in memory of grandma||Eleanor G Jenkins Walker|
If you want to transfer her memorial that is fine. Some people don't like to transfer, so
I never demand such...
Note: I was simply pointing out that the text you put in Eleanor's biography about her parents was from what I told you when I first started on my Jenkins genealogy.
It was a year or so after you added that text when we realized that Eleanor's mother was actually Martha (Davis) Jenkins. Martha died in 1831 when many of her 14 children were young. Daughter, Eleanor was 9, and my ancestor Daniel (Eleanor's younger brother) was 7 when their mother Martha died.
Jane mentioned in the biography text was their step-mother -- not their mother.
Anyway, if you transfer Eleanor's memorial to me, I'll make sure to update the text.
Thanks in advance!
|G. Abbott||RE: Janney/Miller/Gilpin Families|
I thought since you held memorials for al of those Janneys that you knew how they fit. I looked at the charts, but didn't see it yet, maybe because the names are hard to read (handwritten script.)
I know for sure, the Lawrence and Miller surnames connect to the Janneys. THat is where Laura Gilpin must have known Virginia Laurence and John P. Landers.
If I find the connection, I will give you a shout out.

I don't know if I will ever get to entering all of this info.
I have huge fan charts, etc., of these families. I got the from The Whitte Museum in San Antonio.
Do you want them? (PDFs, etc.)
My dad's 1st cousin was John P. Landers, former curator, and they are cousins to Laura Gilpin. My father's other 1st cousin, Virgiia Laurence (of Adam Lawrence line) said she used to ride horses w/ her cousin Laura Gilpin (of CO.) Laura was at the Charles White School, most of her photos of Native-Americans in early 1900s. Laura donated the charts to the museum.
Laura P. Gilpin b. 4-22-1891, dau. of Francis Helen "Frank" GIlpin and Emma Gosler Miller.
Emma is dau. of John Saunders Janney Miller b. 1833 m. Rachel Williams.
"Frank" Gilpin, son of Mary Bernard b. 1834 m. Bernard Gilpin, Jr. b. 3-5-1826.
These Gilpins come through Gov. Gilpin of CO., but I haven't entered that info, either.
You already know they connect to Lupton. upton is also a descent for me, Mercy Lupton + Stephen Twining.
Looks good, thanks again!

Oh, I completely understand. I'll try to find someone else who might be able to determine the location.

|LRobin||Catherine Forbes - Mary Forbes Beach|
Mr. Cliff -good morning. Is there any way to determine if Catherine Forbes (14794383) grave stone is in close proximity to that of Mary Forbes Beach (14794402)?
Mary's mother was "Catherine," and the years are in very close order to that of Mary's mother.
If so, then I would guess that they are mother and daughter,especially being the only two documented "Forbes" at Lee Cemetery. Otherwise, it's quite a coincidence.
"My" Catherine (Connelley) Forbes was born in Ireland and married to John Forbes.
I'll leave it to your best judgement, as at this moment I do not have hard documentation of the relationship.
