My home is Minnetonka, MN, the place I grew-up and raised my family. I have had an interest in history, and geneology provided a context for the timeline of history.|
Find-A-Grave is a terrific starting point for any family historian to create family connections as defined by their resting place, parents and spouse. Participating in volunteer photos and buildling local cemeteries has been a fun hobby.
Please advise any corrections, updates or family links for any of the memorials I have created.

|Lars Persson||Question about contribution|
My name is Lars Persson, I live in Sweden and is doing some family research and this led me to one of your contributions on find a grave.
Namely Carl Otto Boander (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=62723561)
He is third cousin with my great grandmother Hulda Johansson.
Carl Ottos mothers name while living in Sweden was Emilia Olsdotter (maiden name) she later married Per Månsson Boander.
Per seams to be called Peter when he emigrated to USA.
Anyway my question to you is if you in any way is related to Carl Otto Boander?
Mark - I love the picture of my parents graves. Since I am 2,000 miles away it is a comfort to look at the picture and send flowers. Any chance I can get a copy of the headstone,

Hi, Thanks for posting the Brokl gravesites. My grandfather, Arnold moved the my family to California and I'm a bit separated from the Minnesota "Brokl" family. Nice to visit the gravesite virtually. Best,

You're welcome. The updates are done too. I gladly transfer to family. If you're ever in Silver Lake, The Dubisar's are in the last row on the east side of the cemetery (alley), a flat stone and closest to the north end (toward Hwy 7 or furthest from the church). St Adalbert's still stands and the small cemetery is very well kept.
Hello Mark.. first thank you for all the work you have done on find a grave! I was wondering if you are related some way to Emilie Navratil Horejsi and her family? My son in law's last name is Horejsi and I have been visiting my daughter this past week doing genealogy work on his family roots. I was thrilled to discover this grave site for Emilie. She is my son in law's great grandmother. I believe her last name is misspelled on the marker. the marker lists her last name as Horesjsi. I didn't find her when I entered her correct spelling so I had added her to findagrave. Then I noticed the last spelling of her name and discovered you did indeed have her listed. I then searched that last name spelling to discover you had also entered Benjamin and Alojs with her last name. I have not yet found a link to them as Benjamin was born and died between census years and I have a Lewis Navratil who was born in 1888, in Bohemia. I believe Benjamin and Alojs to be Emilie's siblings.. and all three are buried with their parents Frank and Christine Navratil. If you are related and have information on how they fit into the family I would love to hear from you. I do know Emilie had two boys with her husband. Walter and Benjamin. This is in Faith Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Hopkins MN. I look forward to hearing from you.
