I've always been fascinated with grave sites, visited cemeteries, made rubbings, took photos, etc. and must say that find-a-grave is an ideal site.
I've worked on family history projects for over 35 years and will for as long as I can. I'm more than happy to share family history with anyone interested.
The primary names I research are STROOPE, KEA, Pitts, Howton, Trammel, Hopper, Hale, Thetford, CARPER, BARTON, Lyon, Phipps, Griffith, Ellison, Shumate and many allied lines.
When I document a grave site, I try to include some information on the parents, siblings, marriage, etc. hoping this will help someone identify their relative. In some cases, when recording my line, or lines, I've created memorials for as much of the cemetery as I've had access to.
I'm not likely to post obits. I prefer to glean information from any I receive.
I'll be glad to transfer your family member to you. Always remember the FAG # for the memorial page and, of course, your FAG #. PLEASE do not send me a big list of names with no numbers included... thanks
If I have grave site information in error, please contact me so that corrections can be made.

Wilmer Delton Stroope Kathy: Please send me your mailing address. Been having computer problems. I want to send you the obituary for Wilmer Delton Stoope. He was buried at the Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Within the next few weeks I will go and get his tombstone photo and also mail that to you as well. Thanx!
DATES IN QUESTION I went to the cemetery to get the photos you requested. I did get the set of sister Amoroso's but on one the dates are 1917-2012. I'm assuming this is the same person you've requested. I went into the office and spoke with the women and she confirmed that the 2 Amoroso's are in fact blood sisters as well as nuns "sister" I will post the photos, but if you find MY photos are incorrect, please let me know, and I can remove them. Hope this all helps.
Mary Spencer Sorry for that empty message. Yes, I am a Stroope, Jenkins and a Spencer decendant. Mary is my mother. I would like to maintain this entry, as well as any Jenkins and Spencers in the Jourdanton Cemetary as they are my aunts and uncles who are in the same plot. thanks.

I am Thomas Simmons Bertram's daughter-in-law. The Find A Grave Memorial# is 73358246. I noticed that several of the dates, siblings, children are in error. I'd like to request to take over his and my mother-in-law's records.
I've never requested to take over something before so please let me know if I need to do anything else.
RE: Vera Colony obit info Kathy Because we are not to use obits, I call them the bio. As I have a service I call the Coston Obit Service. I send obits to all the 50 states and countries in Europe and Canada. To us that work for Find A Grave, its fun to be of help to all. By chance would you have any idea where the Brookside Cemetery is? I love what I do 4 U. Jean
Jean DeWitt Ogden Oldest sibling was Zane Ogden - shows up incorrectly on some records -1880 (?). He was listed as Jane; entry has been corrected to clearly state SON. Was a boy though, borh 1875 and died about 1914. He married and had a son.
Also, mother was not Fidelia (Fidelia Skinner was the second wife of Neri Ogden; first wife Martha Gaston was mother of all the children. (Fidalia was a sister of my g-grandmother Julia Skinner Henry.) Nancy Ash
