LMW- you can transfer the memorial to me if you'd like. It is for Sr. Mary Alacoque # 77583644. Sister is buried in Our Lady of the Oaks Cemetery.

I'd like to thank you for adding this cemetery to the database, and also for the photos. My Husband's great aunt was Sister Mary Alacoque. If I send you a short bio would that be appropriate?
Deleted! Thanks for your help!

Good Morning! What a lovely surprise to wake up to! Thank you SO much for transferring Pennie to me! I will take loving care of her memorial.
My work here on findagrave has mostly been for my family, but I have had the privilege of creating memorials for a tiny forgotten cemetery in my county, the privilege of documenting most the graves in a historical cemetery in another county, and a few graves here and there as well. I look forward to the time when family members contact me asking for transfers or asking that I add information to the memorials of their loved ones.
You did a beautiful job on Pennnie's memorial. It would be absolutely lovely for you to add photo's of her and her husband's headstones. Thank you for offering.

I've added Donald's parents, as you suggested. Would you like me to transfer his memorial to you?

Dear L. M. W. and Sister,
What a pleasant surprise!
Thank you so much for the obit for Emily Casey.
All I need is a monument photo and it will be
complete, Since you wrote, I have requested that.
Thanks to your sister, perhaps we can get some
more memorials completed. Send any thing you
can that will personalize the memorials on this
I joined Find A Grave as I have a huge stack of genealogical quarterlies, cemetery lists, etc. that I have been trying to share on this website. It is a shame that some members will not post a obituary, even an old one.
Tell you sis thanks, and I hope to hear from
you soon with any family information that you
have to share.

I went ahead and added the obit to Margaret's memorial. If you would like to remove the text for the flower, that is okay. It's also okay if you want to leave it.
I know that some people take the Find A Grave guidelines to mean that obits should never be published here. The guidelines do not read that way. Generally speaking, obits that were published as long ago as these are no longer under copyright and the guidelines allow for that. So, I have no issues with posting them.
I greatly appreciate your effort in transcribing these. I have no idea if I ever will get back to Green Bay, so would not be able to search the archives for these. Following the deaths of my sister and her husband, I no longer have any close family in the area. The information you have provided is very valuable to me and I thank you again.

I hadn't noticed the flower posting for Margaret. Thank you. Let's leave it for now.
This one gives me pause for thought, as well. I know that Margaret had a brother who came to the U.S. before she did. I am pretty sure that was Thomas Atkinson, who is in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery. He was father to Maggie Mahon and I spent a fair amount of time with Maggie's son, Jack, and her daughters when I was growing up. I knew they were cousins through the Atkinsons. What I did not know was that Robert Armstrong's wife, Sarah, was Margaret's sister. This brings up some questions as to whether or not I am correct about the relationship between Thomas and Margaret. Thomas was born in 1816 and Sarah was apparently born in 1842. That would say that their mother had at least 26 years of childbearing. Not unheard of, I suppose. But, a large enough span to throw doubt on what I thought I knew. Looks like I need to rethink my research.
Thank you for all this information. It is greatly appreciated.
