Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife and I live in Huntsville, Alabama and we both graduated from Lee High School in 1964. We have three adult sons, a grand daughter, a great grand son and one spoiled dog. I'm a dedicated fan of The University of Alabama football team; Roll Tide! I served in the United States Navy aboard the destroyer, USS Hopewell (DD-681) and am a Vietnam veteran (1966).

I've been working on my family tree off and on for some time now but, lost a lot of my info during a remodel on our home. I've just started recompiling a little bit at a time since I retired from the cable tv industry in 2010. I stumbled across in searching for ancestors and realized how much work all the contributors have put forth in compiling all this data into these memorials. I like to think of this as showing honor and respect in creating memorials to all the loving, gentle family and friends that have passed on before me. I LOVE REUNITING FAMILIES via the "FAMILY LINK" feature on here.

If one of my memorial creations is a close relative of yours (within four generations), I'll be more than happy to "transfer" it to you. If any of my memorials help anyone in the completion of their family tree, then so much the better. I just hope one of my sons or another family member will assume the management of my memorials after I leave this world to be with my Heavenly Father.

I truly appreciate all your memorial creations and hope I can be of some help to others that are searching for their ancestors. Please be patient with me if I make any mistakes; if so, I'll be happy to make any corrections necessary! May God bless each and every one of you...

I want to thank you for posting my husband's memorial. Also, thank you for your service to our great nation. My husband retired with 22 yrs 2 days before his 40th birthday. Went home to be with our Father just before his 46th birthday. He has a daughter and a son and at the time, one grandson that he adored. That grandson is now 23 and in the Army. He recently returned from Afghanistan and a few yrs ago served in Iraq. He also has 2 more grandsons, 17 and 9 - they know all about their "Pa". Again thank you with all my heart.

RE: Nancy Sharp
No need to wait. There are a lot of volunteers taking pictures out there. If you put in a request, someone will probably claim it the same day and get the picture uploaded soon after. But, if you do want to go out there, her location is here:
The red square shows her location and you can zoom in and see exactly where she is.

Apparently you can ignore edits. So, I've got yours "ignored" for now until we're sure it's her. Thanks!

RE: Nancy Sharp # 119195347

I'm not sure what to think about this one. If it is her, why is she not buried with him? The listing I have is for Maple Hill Cemetery and the man is buried in what appears to be a double plot in Hazel Green. If she got remarried and was buried with the second husband, her last name would be different. Sometimes when the second spouse is buried, the year of death never gets added to the marker. I have no idea why, but I've seen that. Maybe you should contact the cemetery in Hazel Green and see if someone is buried with him. You could also put in a photo request for someone to photograph the marker in Maple Hill. Maybe it has a birthdate or something on it. I'd do it myself, but I won't have a chance to get out there anytime soon. I have 87 edits waiting on me to check and I have to either accept or reject each one, I can't ignore it and come back to it. I'll reject yours for now until we figure this out. Hang on to your info. If we find out it is indeed her, I'll update her memorial or transfer it to you. Thanks,

Hey Johnny, I'm working on the grounds crew at Valhalla now. I know you've done a lot of work there. Next time you're there look me up. I think we have some mutual friends.
