I am happy to receive information or inquiries on those whose memorials I manage. Requests by relatives wishing that I add to or modify memorials are always welcome. Requests for transfer are welcome, but if I am a direct descendant to the person in question, I would like to keep them in my care.

Family branches I am interested in (along with all the related families):
Duncan families of 1800s Page and Boone counties of Iowa, and late 1800s of Phillips Kansas;
Dunham families of 1800s Nichols, Tioga, New York;
Fendersons of Maine, Lower tier NY state, and Iowa;
Finch families, prior to 1900s, all areas;
Hampton and
Harlan families of south Iowa, north Missouri;
Harris families of Boone County Iowa;
Housel families prior to 1900s, all areas;
Johnson families of Tolland, Connecticut, and Bradford, Pennsylvania;
Kelly families of Boone Iowa and into Kansas 1800s;
McNeil family of Owego, Ny and to Durango Colorado 1800s;
Overholt/Oberholtzer of Pennsylvania, into Ohio and Iowa;
Ray families of Boone County Iowa;
Sedore families of NY State, Ohio, and Iowa prior to 1900;
Stephenson and Thomas families of south Iowa;
Wait families of Rhode Island, New York State, and Iowa, prior to 1900;
Webster families of Connecticut and Bradford, Pennsylvania;
Williams families of Louisa County, Iowa, and before 1900;
Wright families of 1800 and before Tioga, NY.

I do enjoy my privacy while I research and contribute.
Please leave a public message or use the EDIT on any memorial I have created to contact me. I will try to respond ASAP.

And a heart felt and honest Thank You to the good people of Find A Grave who respect genealogy with complete bios as well as accurate grave listings.

Let me know if I have missed adding you to my Friends list.

This is an unofficial archive of family papers, letters, a few books, and many photos (often these photos have no name associated with them). Quite often, the letters require some interpretation supported by other information, in order to correctly understand the information presented. Because of this, I am reluctant to share very much of the texts verbatim. Similarly, some of the photos have been mislabeled, so unless you know whose handwriting is on the photos, you may not be able to understand which label is correct and which label is not. With some of the oldest Finch and Wait family information, there is some question as to if we are looking at the original document, or a handwritten transcription (and I do suspect the latter of these options). So with the possibility of some of these documents being transcriptions, their source comes into question making it impossible to verify the quality of the information contained within the document without some other way to verify this information.

RE: re Charles M. Payson Find A Grave Memorial# 125421406
I only have the page for his son, William, not the parents.

Her name is not on the stone, but it is the right dates, right plot and right next to John.

RE: re: Caroline/Catherine Housel
You are welcome. I saw your comment regarding trying to find her husband, Tyler's burial location. Have you requested a copy of his death certificate from Trenton to see if it lists his place of burial?

I will also tell you that if he was buried at Greenwich in an unmarked grave with his wife & son, the cemetery records will not list him. This may be the case since he died at an alms house and there may have been no money for a stone. I have relatives buried there in unmarked graves and they have no record of them only the ones with gravestones.

Catharine Housel 74255105
I fulfilled your request today for Catharine not Caroline Housel, wife of Tyler at Greenwich Cemetery. She is buried next to her son, Asher whose stone is in the dark next to her stone. I did not take Asher's since it needs sun to be seen and will add it when we go back another time. I did not see any other Housels in that specific area but will check when we return.

Ettie Kelly
You are correct that is Ettie Kelly. The genealogy library in Columbus vertified it, and I have entered a bit more data on her memorial in Dove cemetery. In the 1930 census, A. L. Kelly is living with his oldest daughter, Clara, and family.

RE: re: Francis Keary Gerber Find A Grave Memorial# 157694546
Just uploaded the picture and also created a memorial for her husband Carl. He is buried in the same plot. Sermon on the Mount, Block 1, Lot 445, DD/Bottom.

RE: re: Francis Keary Gerber Find A Grave Memorial# 157694546
When I go back to find Francis' headstone I will look to see if her husband's is there too. If so I will take a picture of both. I hope to get all the requests for Lakeview done this week. I researched the locations first, and have been going one section at a time to find the graves.It is a big cemetery and the plots are not very well marked so it takes a bit of walking and back tracking to find the right spots.

Benjamin Thomas & Madeline Putnam
I saw the messages you left on TomSans page. I am researching a Benjamin Thomas & Madeline Putnam who had children Margaret (born abt 1814 in Ohio) and Benjamin (who lived in Scioto county, Ohio). I was wondering if you had any more information that might help me to know if the Benjamin Thomas & Magdelene Putman buried in Thomas Cemetery in , Scioto, Ohio might be the ones I am looking for.

Thank you.
